America’s southern border with Mexico is in desperate need of attention due to the volume of people who illegally try to cross it everyday.
Chances are, if you ask the average American “man on the street,” they would likely severely underestimate the true scale of the issue.
Which on Monday, believe it or not, once again reached record heights for illegal crossings.

A New Record
While many Americans, at least on the right, understand that the border is far more serious than the media has pretended, the sheer scale and scope is truly hard to picture.
Fox Business reports:
The besieged U.S. southern border saw a record number of migrant encounters in a single day on Monday, as thousands flooded into Eagle Pass, Texas, amid a broader surge in recent weeks that has left authorities overwhelmed.
There were over 12,600 migrant encounters on Monday, Customs and Border Protection sources told Fox. That does not include the thousands still waiting for processing in the Del Rio Sector on Monday evening after a surge of migrants into Eagle Pass. The number includes over 11,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and over 1,600 encountered at ports of entry.
As of Tuesday morning, sources told Fox that agents are still processing and transporting more than 4,500 migrants at the busy crossing point, with more than 5,300 already in custody and facilities at 260% over capacity.
It means that the tiny border sector is dealing with over 10,000 total migrants, which is roughly a third of the entire of Eagle Pass itself, and agents are outmanned to a ratio of 200:1.
Each of these figures represents a deliberate policy choice of failure on the part of Congress, the President, and both parties.
It’s so bad, even Arizona’s Democrat governor feels compelled to at least pretend to care – even deploying the National Guard.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs said in a statement on Friday, “With this Executive Order, I am taking action where the federal government won’t. But we can’t stand alone, Arizona needs resources and manpower to reopen the Lukeville crossing, manage the flow of migrants, and maintain a secure, orderly and humane border.”
When Will This Madness End?
This is outrageous by any measure. What is a country if it is not defined by borders?
Nearly one term in, Joe Biden has not done one thing to fix this problem. At one point, he even designated Vice President Kamala Harris to fix this problem, and the results of her work are what we see now.
Americans in border states and other states are suffering due to our government’s lack of action.
And on Monday, America’s illegal immigration dilemma apparently had its worst day yet.
