12-Year-Old Who Got In Trouble Over Gadsden Flag Asks Tucker Carlson If He’ll Be Trump’s VP – And Tucker Absolutely Unloads on ‘Senile’ Biden

A 12-year-old boy removed from class at his school earlier this year after being told his Gadsden Flag patch violated dress policy because of its “racist origins” asked Tucker Carlson if he’d consider running as Vice President alongside Donald Trump.

The exchange came during an appearance by the former Fox News host at Turning Point USA’s America Fest.

Jaiden Rodriguez drew applause from the crowd when he directed a two-pronged question toward Carlson ending with, “Would you consider being Vice President for Trump?”

Carlson responded candidly, giving a nuanced explanation that he’s not good at everything and his main strength is that of talk show host.

“I think I’m pretty good at it,” he said.

The former Fox News host has previously suggested that he is “not suited” for a political career.

Carlson: I’m A Talk Show Host, Not Vice President Material

While Carlson responded that he wouldn’t be good at serving in the role of Vice President – despite being a popular choice of Republican voters and despite Trump expressing some level of interest – he was incredibly vociferous about the importance of the 2024 election.

Carlson said that he is increasingly “repulsed” by politics, another indicator that he would not step into that arena.

“In general,” he said, politicians are “probably the worst people in our society.”

It was roughly at this point that Carlson began to truly unload on President Joe Biden.

“I think it’s absolutely important – maybe historically important – for Trump not to be stopped by this totally immoral, country-changing, political vendetta,” he fumed.

“You can not use the Justice Department to knock the frontrunner out of the race on fake charges,” Carlson added. “Period. If you allow that, you’re done.”

“You also can’t allow a political party to choose a senile guy to quote ‘run your country’ when every single person knows he’s not running the country because he’s senile,” Carlson told the audience.

He then presented a scenario in which he’d have to attend a fundraiser and maybe tell donors what they want to hear, relaying an example that might involve talking up Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a particular group of GOP benefactors.

Carlson just can’t seem to play the game.

“Zelensky has tried to get my country where my children live in a nuclear war,” he said in a fiery tone. “And anyone who tries to get my children in a nuclear war is my enemy.”

Matt Gaetz Also Tried To Draft Tucker

Also speaking at the Turning Point USA event was Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who urged Carlson to consider a run as Trump’s Vice President.

“Maybe we’ll even get Tucker Carlson joining President Trump in the White House as his VP. Trump-Tucker 2024,” he said to a cheering crowd. “The world might not be ready, but I’m ready.”

Rodriguez has reignited calls for Tucker to join Trump’s campaign, and he knows a fighter when he sees one.

After his story of running afoul with his school due to a Gadsden flag patch on his backpack went viral, the school eventually backed down.

The school had falsely accused Rodriguez of wearing a flag patch with “racist origins.”

However, Rodriguez never backed down and within hours of an onslaught of negative coverage on social media, the school allowed him to return to school with the patch intact.
