Texas Governor Greg Abbott Demolishes Australian Woman Triggered By American Flags: ‘Go Back To Australia’

Texas Governor Greg Abbott responded to a video of an Australian woman complaining about an overabundance of American flags in America by suggesting she go back to her country.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) responded to a video of an Australian woman complaining about an overabundance of American flags in America by suggesting she go back to her country.

In a video shared to TikTok, Mia Chloe wanders along a street complaining about the amount of stars and stripes she was seeing.

“I’m just gonna say it… there are too many American flags,” she said.

“They’re on houses. They’re on cars. Some are on couch cushions,” she continues to rant. “You’re the only country that I know that does this.”

Chloe tells viewers that the presence of the Australian flag is so fleeting in her country that she “could not tell you what it looks like.”

The American flag, by contrast, she believes she could draw by memory, a feat most elementary school children could match, what with its very difficult alternating 13 stripes and 50 stars.

“It’s enough,” she said. “Let’s stay humble.”

Abbott Spits Fire At Anti-American Flag Australian Woman

Texas Governor Abbott issued a hilarious response to the anti-American flag woman from Australia on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

In fact, he stopped just sort of simply replying, “Bye, Felicia.”

“Go back to Australia,” he wrote.

The tweet was accompanied by eight American flag emojis.

The Australian woman’s TikTok account has since been deactivated following backlash to her commentary.

Abbott’s wasn’t the only negative commentary directed her way, much of it echoing those same sentiments.

Conservative activist Scott Pressler wrote, “We will happily pay for a one-way airplane ticket back to Australia.”

“We’re not Australia babe. We’re the United States of America. Don’t like seeing our flag flying, go back home. We won’t miss you,” another person responded.

Liberals Triggered By The American Flag

Sorry to break it to this young Australian woman, but Americans aren’t going to take advice from a country that recently celebrated a “renewal in freedoms” following COVID lockdowns in which officials in one state announced vaccinated-only residents will soon be allowed “one hour” of extra recreational time.

Our lockdowns were bad. Yours were third-world-level tyranny.

They also offered up prisons a “COVID quarantine facility” during the pandemic.

Hard to be patriotic and fly your flags proudly when knowing that’s what is in store every time officials want to assert control in your unarmed country.

The Australian woman’s response to a plethora of American flags is reminiscent of some other liberals who have been triggered by the flying of Old Glory.

Mara Gay, a member of the New York Times editorial board, said it was disturbing to see “dozens of American flags” flown by Donald Trump supporters during a visit to Long Island.

Gay later clarified that the flag itself wasn’t “disturbing” but rather, the notion that “Trump and many of his supporters have politicized the American flag.”

Patriotism isn’t political. It’s an indication of one’s love for their country.

If that falls predominantly on one side of the political aisle, then that says more about the opposing party.

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.

  1. Let me add another anecdote from that same trip – as part of our tour, we spent the Christmas season in Sydney, then being threatened by raging wildfires, which were actually encroaching on the city proper. Quite coincidentally, one of my clients, Erickson Aircrane, was down there with their fleet of firefighting helicopters, literally saving the city from destruction. It was almost embarrassing reading the Sydney papers, which, every day, led off with some paean of praise for the giant Sikorsky Skycranes (each bearing an American flag) which were beating back the flames. It’s easy, in times of relative ease and safety, to sneer at those to whom you once looked for succor. I tend to believe that most Aussies, however, shared the sentiments of the crowds on Sydney’s streets who stopped and applauded those giant, water-bearing helicopters as they roared overhead on their way to save the city. Back then, the Aussies weren’t enjoining us to “get humble”. They were shouting “Good on ya'” as the helos flew by.

  2. In 1942, as the Japanese Empire overran the Philippines, the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), French Indochina, and the British holdings in Malaysia and Singapore, while shelling Australia’s northern coasts and invading its New Guinea Protectorate, there were very few Aussies complaining about the sudden appearance of lots of American flags – but I can give you a more recent example. Following the events of 9/11, the London bombings, the Madrid bombings, and, most particularly, the Bali bombings (which killed proportionately more Aussies than American citizens who were lost on 9/11). international tourism virtually stopped, as the world hunkered down in fear. And it was then that I decided to take advantage of the available travel bargains to take my wife to Australia – first stop, Melbourne, probably Australia’s most liberal city. The streets were virtually deserted and our 4 star hotel was devoid of tourists, but, as we strolled about and the local Aussies heard our American accents, they seemed to suddenly relax and we actually heard, on more than one occasion, the sentiment “it’s going to be alright, the Yanks are back”. So, I’m willing to ignore the little fool and her American flag aversion. Every country has its ingrates and idiots. She’s not Australia’s fault.

Who do you thing saved your country during WWII from a Jap invasion? An American Yank toting a 48 star American flag, that’s who! Embrace the now 50 star American flag and be
    thankful.

When the individual has nothing to be proud of, never accomplished anything and is too lazy/stupid to ever accomplish anything, they take comfort in the achievements of others. Which is why sports fans are so rabid.
America was once great. It is now crap. Americans have arrogance and hubris of having once upon a time being a great country. Unlike most fairy tales, it won’t have a happy ending.

    1. Are you claiming that America having been a great country once is a fairy tale? If so, tell that to the Japanese who attacked America and were defeated. Or tell that to the over 1 million legal immigrants who leave their country to come to the US.

      1. Sorry to be so long in replying.
You are a moron. What part of “America was once great.” did you not understand?
Pearl Harbour is exactly the proof that Americans are hubristic idiots. The USA had attacked Japan by setting a blockade and stopping the importation of oil to Japan. This blockade was an act of war by US but advertised as “it is just business”. Japanese were dying because of this blockade, but 80 years later stupid Americans say Japan started the war by bombing Pearl Harbour.
As for legal immigrants, my son and grandson are now Americans, he was offered a very rewarding position and is now wealthy in the top 0.2% of income earners. Which proves my point, there was no one in the US who could match his knowledge or expertise.

  5. Do not judge all Aussies by the actions of one airhead. The US has plenty of young airheads and anti-Americans, especially in the mainstream media, universities, and the Democrat Party.

  6. Well, Ausie Mia, when you get back to Aust, you might take a look and see what your Countries Flag looks like. There is a difference between Humility and Ignorance. You should look into assisting the Aboriginals you have spent years trying to eradicate.

  7. I’m surprised she didn’t bitch about the Texas flag too. I fly both. Americans are proud of their country and aren’t afraid to advertise it. Go home And find something to bitch about there.

  8. Yes. This horrible, racist country that takes in illegal aliens by the millions and gives them food, clothing, shelter, health care and anything else they need. How inhumane of us. Untold
millions more would live here if they could. I never see people risking life and limb to illegally enter China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. It takes a special kind of stupid to hate the USA, which has been a beacon of freedom for so many.

By all means do go back to your third world penal colony of a country you won’t be missed here. There was a time when I really wanted to visit Australia. As a kid my family hosted 2 aussies as foreign exchange students. They were terrific young ladies, something you’re not. Today. You couldn’t pay me to take a trip there.
