As the entire left-leaning mainstream media covers for presumed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, actress Susan Sarandon has become one of the only liberal activists to show a hint of interest in taking the sexual assault accusations against him seriously.
On Saturday, the actress shared an article from The Intercept reporting further evidence that appeared to support allegations made by Tara Reade, who claims she was sexually assaulted by Biden when he was a U.S. senator in 1993.

Tara Reade’s Late Mother Gives Further Credibility to Her Accusations with an Unsurfaced CNN Call from 1993
The Intercept was covering recently surfaced evidence of Reade’s now deceased mother calling CNN’s Larry King 27 years ago to discuss a “prominent senator” her daughter had been accosted by.
The audio unfolds as follows. Host Larry King says, “San Luis Obispo, California, hello.”
The caller, who has been revealed as Reade’s late mother, says, “Yes, hello. I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington? My daughter has just left there, after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him.”
King replies, “In other words, she had a story to tell but, out of respect for the person she worked for, she didn’t tell it?”
“That’s true,” the caller replies.

Tara Reade claimed that while working for Senator Biden in 1993, that he forcefully penetrated her with his fingers. She has repeated these claims in multiple interviews and filed a criminal complaint.
Reade claimed that she shared the story with her brother at the time of the alleged assault, which he has confirmed, as well as her late mother, who can be heard in the exchange with King.
2 days ago my daughter sent me this message. That night I dreamt of my mother. The next morning @ryangrim called me to verify my mother, her name & the show she called into August 1993. Hearing my mom's voice try to protect me was so powerful. Time & space is no obstacle to love. pic.twitter.com/PbE9dWQ1uL

This new evidence via the old CNN exchange gives even more credibility to Reade’s claim that she confided in her mother at the time.
Reade is a Bernie Sanders supporter who has voted Democrat her entire life.

Mainstream Media Completely Ignores
The mainstream media has largely ignored this story and for the most part blacklisted Reade.
When three of Biden’s potential vice presidential picks appeared on the Sunday morning news shows, not a single one was asked about these accusations.
Founder of the #metoo movement, actress Alyssa Milano, is an open friend of Joe Biden and has also largely ignored this allegation. Despite her strongly backing Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault, Milano is taking a far more cautious approach with Biden.
“I have not publicly said anything about this; if you remember, it kind of took me a long time to publicly say anything about Harvey (Weinstein) as well, because I believe that even though we should believe women, and that is an important thing, and what that statement really means is like, for so long, the go-to has been not to believe them,” said Milano. “So really, we have to sort of societally change that mindset to believing women.”
“But that does not mean at the expense of not giving men their due process,” Milano said.
