Meghan McCain Hints She’ll Vote For Biden: ‘I Love Him Dearly’

Meghan McCain, daughter of late Senator John McCain, strongly hinted that she will be voting for Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election.

During an interview on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” McCain said it doesn’t take “rocket science” to figure out which candidate she supports more as a human being.

“So I just had a really long conversation with him [Biden] a few days ago, like on Saturday, and I love him dearly, I keep telling everyone, I will promise you you will know who I’m voting for,” she told viewers.

Living Hell

McCain went on to complain that President Trump’s political rivalry with Senator McCain helped make her life “a living hell.”

“It really shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to know there’s one man who has made pain in my life a living hell, and another man who has like literally shepherded me through the grief process,” she said. “This really shouldn’t be rocket science for people.”

The co-host of “The View” went on to say that President Trump and First Lady Melania make her mother cry.

“The Trumps, they’re always making my mom cry,” McCain said. “I just think politics is personal too and character is really important. And [I want] someone who’s going to tamp down … fear and anger, instead of making it worse.”

Principled Conservative?

It’s really difficult to relate to someone who can so easily sacrifice their principles because somebody else has been ‘mean’ to them.

If you’re so distraught by the President’s words and jabs that you’re willing to compromise core beliefs as a Republican, then you’re clearly unprincipled to begin with.

Which practically makes you a Democrat in the first place.

On that note, a fellow guest on the show, Erika Jayne, a cast member on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” suggested McCain might make a good running mate for Biden.

“He said he was going to pick a woman,” Jayne exclaimed. “It should be you!”

Misguided McCain

It’d be difficult to imagine suddenly becoming pro-abortion or pro-illegal immigration because somebody disrespected a family member.

Yet, here we are.

While Trump’s handling of some comments about McCain, particularly his record of service has been lacking at times, the senator’s record on certain matters politically – such as his vow to repeal and replace Obamacare or a willingness to side with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in their Russia collusion accusations – is fair game for criticism.

His passing, sad as it was, does not make his legacy immune from critical review.
