Students Make Ultimate Sacrifice For Classmate; This Was So INSPIRING!

Sometimes kids are the most selfless, thoughtful, amazing people on the planet, and they really take your breath away.

Bath Village Elementary school kids in kindergarten through sixth grade raised money to take a class trip to Boston, seeing all the sights and getting the valuable experience that comes with travel.

This year will be different. One of the kids, a first grader, is dealing with a tragedy that no child should ever have to suffer. But his fellow peers decided to band together and make him feel the love!

From WMUR:

A group of elementary school students are making a big sacrifice to help another student who is going through a very tough time.

A first-grader at the Bath Village School lost his mother to cancer about two months ago. The boys and girls in the fifth and sixth grades wanted to do something special for him, and they did.

Classes had just started in September at the tiny school when Sawyer Fenoff lost his mother to cancer. The staff and 77 students in kindergarten through sixth grade all signed a sympathy card but knew that they wanted to do more.

“We felt as upper grades and as a staff, we really wanted to do something more, and a couple of students came forward and really started sharing their feelings,” fifth-grade teacher Timothy Carignan said.

Every other year, the fifth- and sixth-graders take a trip to Boston. They walk the Freedom Trail, ride the Duck Boats and even get a tour of Fenway Park.

What a decision to make, and an unselfish one at that. These children are going to remember this for a long time to come. You can call all of them angels and that would correctly identify their terrific spirits.
