Has Senator Al Franken resigned yet?
Last I heard, when a lawmaker, or someone running for public office, is accused of sexually harassing people, they should step away from the spotlight.
Or does that only apply to Republicans like Roy Moore?
Sen. Franken was accused this morning of groping and kissing radio broadcaster Leeann Tweeden during a USO Tour abroad. Tweeden actually provided proof of Franken’s deviant behavior.
If Al Franken voluntarily had this picture taken of him, imagine what he was doing when there were no cameras around… pic.twitter.com/BnDjnI948L

Franken has since responded to these allegations. Here’s what he said in a statement: “I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann. As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it.”
Oh, he “shouldn’t have done it.” Hmm. I’m glad Franken had the moral fortitude to come up with that excuse. Had it been a Republican caught in this compromising situation, you can bet Franken would be on the front lines demanding he or she resign. But when he is caught grabbing the bosom of a sleeping female? Oh, ho-hum, I “shouldn’t have done it.”
Please! Franken admitted the picture was real, and then said his memory was foggy. You know, kind of like Roy Moore, who claims not to remember preying on teenage girls while in his 30s.
Why do liberals get to cite bad memories? How come the online Democrat army isn’t screaming for Franken to step down yet? Why is it that the right must constantly and forever be on the defensive while the left can’t blatantly violate its own principles and never be held to account?
I’ll tell you why: It’s because the left believes in ‘might makes right’ and fighting dirty. They’ll go to the ends of the earth to destroy conservatives, because, way too often, people on the right will stand by their moral convictions and try to live out their principles.
If this wasn’t bad enough, there are liberals actually defending Franken. Look at this slime:
People need to chill out a bit. One look at that picture and you can tell he's not touching or groping her but making a crude joke. He was a comedian. It's what they do.

Yup, because he’s a comedian, it’s OK that he groped and kissed a woman without her consent. That’s how it works, according to liberals.
