Sean Hannity won’t be beaten that easily.

After weeks of scandal, it looks like the Fox News anchor most closely connected with President Trump isn’t having his ratings affected by the negative media coverage.

Just two weeks ago, we learned that Hannity was the third client of Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen. This led to a lot of gossipy speculation that, because Cohen has been hired as a fixer in scandalous cases involving marital infidelity, perhaps Hannity was paying hush money to a mistress. These rumors were found to be untrue, and Fox News issued a statement of support for Hannity. However, that didn’t stop some of Hannity’s colleagues from chastising the host, saying he was trying to have it both ways by asking Cohen for legal advice and maintaining he was never an official client.

Hannity claimed that he had contacted Cohen about possible legal routes to take after a liberal boycott of his show was announced. That should have been the end of the controversy, but just yesterday we learned that Hannity has made millions from a real-estate venture that has earned him tens of millions of dollars. Many of these properties are held by shell companies, which has raised some red flags.

But with all this controversy surrounding Hannity, how has his hit Fox News show performed? Well, the ratings just came in, and it looks like Hannity is again #1!

From Adweek:

As you can see, Hannity beats them all. As Adweek reported: “Fox News dominated the competition across total day and in prime time. Sean Hannity had the top show of the night. MSNBC finished No. 2 in prime time, but CNN finished No. 2 in the demo through 7 p.m.”

Interestingly, Laura Ingraham also had a respectable showing with her Fox News show despite the recent boycott of her advertisers engineered by gun-control activist David Hogg.

Try as they might, liberals can’t bring Fox News down.
