You know that saying “truth is stranger than fiction”? This is a version of that, which I think, at this point, Democrats will desperately grab on to and refuse to let go.
First, some background: For nearly two years now, the FBI and various other intelligence agencies have been looking into possible collusion between the presidential campaign of Donald Trump and the Russian government. We know that the FBI, under the purview of the Obama Administration, was investigating collusion back in the summer of 2016, and was relying on faulty intelligence to acquire warrants to spy on Trump campaign officials.
Through all this, we have a Special Counsel assigned to further investigate illegal activity between Trump and Russia, all of which has yielded no results, other than charging former campaign staffers for irrelevant financial crimes.
There’s been not a puff of smoke nor even two sticks rubbed together.
But now the Democrats may have just caught a break. A witness has come forward with evidence of a Trump-Kremlin connection. There’s just one problem. Take a look, via the Daily Mail:
The self-proclaimed call girl ‘mistress’ of a Russian billionaire has claimed she will reveal Moscow’s purported connections to the 2016 US presidential elections if America rescues her from a Thailand.
Nastya Rybka was thrust into a corruption scandal in 2016 when she filmed billionaire Oleg Deripaska and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko on Deripaska’s private yacht.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday begging the US for help after she and nine others were allegedly arrested in Thailand on Sunday for being sex experts and running a course in ‘lovemaking’.

So a call girl from Russian claims she’ll give up proof of Russian collusion if the U.S. busts her out of a Thailand prison?
The most inventive novelist in the world would struggle to imagine a scheme such as this. But given the total lack of evidence against Trump, expect this strumpet to become the newest spokesperson of the #Resistance.
