Rubio Confronted By Voter Over Missing Senate Votes – His Response Will SHOCK You!

There is a reason this man (circled) isn’t clapping during Presidential candidate Marco Rubio’s stop to New Hampshire for a town hall.

Marco Rubio

The unidentified man wanted to know why Rubio has missed more votes and intelligence briefings in his job as Senator than any other candidate:

“Because I’m running for president,” Rubio said bluntly in response to a question from a voter. “I’m here in New Hampshire talking to you.”

Before I go a little bit further into the description of the video below, I want to say that’s not the answer most people want to hear. Other candidates are also running and have traveled back to Washington DC to vote when they needed to, so my grade for that answer is LAME.

Rubio has stated in the past he’s frustrated at Congress’ slow pace and he wants to get things working a lot faster. He mentioned that even with a Republican majority in both House and Senate, things aren’t moving as quickly as he would like it.

“What I concluded is nothing is going to change here unless we put the right person in the White House,” Rubio said. “And that’s why I decided to run for president. And to run for president means you are going to miss votes. … I’m not on vacation. I’m here talking to each of you about the future of America.”

But Senator Rubio, even as President you will not have things handed to you on a plate. I can’t believe I am going to say this, but President Barack Obama has resorted to creating executives orders on the whim because he doesn’t feel Congress is moving fast enough for him. Is that where you want to go? Do you want to create executive orders in place of working with Congress?

Marco Rubio

Remember, a frustrated voter will go home because he was just dismissed on TV with a campaign talking point. Check out the video report below:

Rubio should step down from the job and let someone who wants to do the people’s work take the office. He’s not running for re-election, so what’s the point of clinging to that position? Raise your voices, Florida!

What do you think of Rubio’s response? Would you have accepted that response or tried to ask for more clarification because your vote is precious, and you are not just giving it away?
