Roseanne Barr may be the most successful sitcom lead in the country right now. But that doesn’t stop her from getting frustrated by the poisonous state of social media today. (RELATED: Roseanne Continues to Dominate the Ratings).

The titular star of the hit ABC sitcom “Roseanne” had enough of Twitter over the weekend and decided to drop off the social media platform entirely. Citing online abuse, she announced her departure without much fanfare.

Take a look at her tweet:

It’s hard to blame her. Roseanne’s renewed stardom hasn’t been all positive. Because she consciously plays a Trump supporter on her TV show, she’s been getting a lot of flak from the left who can’t stand when someone doesn’t walk in cultural lockstep with them. Roseanne’s a tough person, but nobody likes to deal with this kind of vile bullying.

Of course, liberals wasted no time in mocking Roseanne for her understandable outburst:

There’s no need for that kind of talk. Roseanne is just an entertainer who provides a variety of perspectives on the characters she writes. If liberals were truly tolerant, they would respect her.

Thankfully, Roseanne later reversed her position, announcing her return to Twitter:

It’s good to have such an outspoken fan of Trump back on Twitter. The platform definitely leans left, and many users are sick of the generic leftist opinion shared by a huge number of people.

Roseanne provides a unique perspective combined with her huge fan base. Thank goodness she reversed her position.

Welcome back to Twitter, Roseanne!
