Rand Paul Begs Biden To Reassure Us He Won’t ‘Radically Transform The Country Into Some Sort Of Socialist Dystopia’

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) went on Fox News on Wednesday to beg President Joe Biden that he won’t turn America into some kind of socialist dystopia. He added that Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) will be “key” in preventing such a transformation.

Paul Asks Biden For Reassurance

“I think most importantly, what we have to hear is that he’s not going to radically transform the country into some sort of socialist dystopia,” Paul said.

“And that may sound like, you know, hyperbole, but many of the things they want to do would radically transform America to a different country, to a country different than what has provided great wealth and great humanitarian ease to millions and millions of Americans,” he continued.

“So, you know, there will be a couple of key players in this,” Paul added. “I think Senator Manchin from West Virginia will be key. And also, what will be key is whether or not they blow up the filibuster.”

“If they blow up the filibuster and do everything by simple majority, they could very quickly and radically change America, and I think, destroy a lot of the fabric of what our great wealth and great freedoms are based on,” he said.

Squad Puts Pressure On Biden

Before the presidential election, members of the radically liberal “Squad” made it clear that they felt Biden could be pressured into carrying out their radical agenda. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said in October that “all of the cabinet positions should be filled by progressive Democrats.”

“A president is only as successful as his collaboration is with Congress,” Omar explained. “And we will have a cohort of progressives that are very clear about their objectives for wanting the implementation of, you know, Medicare For All and a Green New Deal and raising the minimum wage and not allowing for fracking.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also threatened to push Biden further to the left should he win the election, particularly on fracking.

“I have a very strong position on fracking,” she said. “However, that is my view.”

“It would be a privilege to lobby him should we win the White House, but we need to focus on winning the White House first,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
