On Wednesday, President Donald Trump urged Americans to pray as Speaker Nancy Pelosi prepared to lead the House to impeach him.
“Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, AND I DID NOTHING WRONG!” Trump tweeted. “A terrible Thing. Read the Transcripts. This should never happen to another President again. Say a PRAYER!”
The House will be spending Wednesday debating the two articles of impeachment brought up before voting on them later in the evening.
Trump is scheduled to leave the White House at around 4:45 p.m. when he will travel to Battle Creek, Michigan for a campaign rally tonight.
On Tuesday. President Trump slammed the entire process in a no-holds-barred letter he sent to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, describing the processes as “an unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power.”
“You are the ones interfering in America’s elections. You are the ones subverting America’s Democracy. You are the ones Obstructing Justice. You are the ones bringing pain and suffering to our Republican for your own selfish personal, political, and partisan gain,” Trump wrote.
After a majority of Democrat votes pass the House impeachment, as is expected, Trump will likely face a Senate trial in January, at which time many believe he will be acquitted by a Republican majority.
In addition to asking for prayers, Trump is wiping his hands clean of this entire fiasco. When asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta if he believes he bears any responsibility for being targeted for impeachment, the President was clear.
“Mr. President,” Acosta asked, “Do you take any responsibility for the fact that you are about to be impeached?”
“No, I don’t take any — zero, to put it mildly,” he shot back.

Can you blame the President? This whole impeachment nonsense has truly been a witch hunt from day one, with Democrats constantly changing their rationale for why he should be taken down.
The Ukraine charge is no different than the Russian collusion conspiracy theory. Both are false narratives of the Democrats’ own making.
Both will also continue to make their party look like fools and will likely help Donald Trump as we head into 2020.
