A poll conducted following the Republican National Convention (RNC) shows a spike in support for President Trump amongst black and Hispanic voters.
The poll, published by Hill-HarrisX, reveals the President received a 9 percent jump in approval from registered black voters.
A significant number of those polled approve of the job Trump is doing as president – 24 percent – while 76 percent stated that they disapproved.
On the surface, that may seem like bad news, but should the President garner anywhere near 24 percent of the black vote he would be well on his way to a massive victory in 2020.
For perspective, Trump grabbed 8 percent of the black vote in 2016, while Mitt Romney received 6 percent in 2012. The late Senator John McCain earned just 4 percent in 2008.
Imagine that – Trump earned more support than the two men who willingly joined Democrats in casting him as a racist.
The Hill-HarrisX poll also indicates a two-point increase in support from Hispanic voters following the RNC.

Democrat/Media Messaging Isn’t Working
The surge in support from black voters comes as the Democrat party and media have been doing their best to portray President Trump as a racist, card-carrying member of the KKK.
They’ve been trying to get that smear across for four years now. And it isn’t working.
Vernon Jones, a black former Democrat and supporter of President Trump, spoke at the RNC last week and explained how the left is angered by the notion of a person of color thinking for themselves.
“The Democratic party does not want black people to leave their mental plantation,” he proudly stated. “We’ve been forced to be there for decades and generations, but I have news for Joe Biden. We are free.”
Jones added that he is “part of a large and growing segment of the black community who are independent thinkers” who believe Trump is the best path forward.

Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) delivered an elegant speech to the RNC covering his life’s journey from “cotton to Congress.”
“It’s about the promise of America. It’s about you and me. Our challenges and heartbreaks, hopes and dreams,” he proclaimed. “We have work to do, but I believe in the goodness of America, the promise that all men and all women are created equal.”

Kim Klacik, a black GOP congressional candidate in Maryland who rose to fame recently for a devastating ad ripping Democrats apart for destroying Baltimore, also spoke at the RNC.
“Democrats still assume that Black people will vote for them, no matter how much they let us down and take us for granted,” she insisted. “Nope. We’re sick of it and not going to take it anymore. The days of blindly supporting the Democrats are coming to an end.”

Scott Predicts Black Support For Trump
Scott predicted this back in February, suggesting a significant uptick in support from the black community on Election Day.
“President Trump will see a 50 percent increase in his African-American support,” Scott envisioned. “It will go from 8 percent in 2016 to a minimum of 12 percent in 2020. He may even get to 15 percent of the African American vote, and that is game over.”
Former three-time NFL team captain and Pro Bowl finalist Jack Brewer also predicted Trump would win “over 20% of the black vote.”
He might not need to get that high, but anything over 10 percent is going to be a monumental shift to the Republican candidate, a clear sign that the black community is fed up with being used as pawns for the Democrats to hold onto power, and a big victory for the President.
