Pot Dealers Call Cops On Themselves, And You Won’t Believe What Happened!

Remember that old PSA from the ’80s – ‘This is drugs, this is your brain on drugs?’

Well … this is your brain on drugs.

A pair of would-be drug traffickers thought police were in hot pursuit of their operation, smoked some of their stash, got fed up waiting for the inevitable, and called 911 on themselves.

Via East Idaho News:

Authorities have released a 911 phone call from a drug trafficking arrest that has people shaking their heads.

The call, released by the Rexburg Police Department and obtained by EastIdahoNews.com, details an incident nearly a year ago on Jan. 23, 2015, when two out-of-state drug traffickers got high and called police to turn themselves in.

The greeting in the 911 call (which you can hear below) is priceless.

“We’re the two dumb asses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border,” the criminal mastermind stated.

The man then claims the “cops are just driving around us like a bunch of jack wagons,” but the pair were growing impatient and would “just like you guys to end it.”

Another factor irking the stoned individual was the cold temperatures.

“I just want to get warm and just get on with this whole thing so…” he said.

Even better, it appears the pair tried to flag down cops to turn themselves in prior to the 911 call.

“We tried walking away from the car a couple times and that didn’t work,” the El Chapo protege explained. “We tried waving them down and that didn’t work so I don’t know what’s going on here.”

You can read the 911 transcript here. It’s quite entertaining.

One of the drug dealers had his sentence increased to one and a half to eight years in prison because … you guessed it … he showed up to his sentencing and tested positive for marijuana.
