When Elizabeth Warren dropped out of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary this week, that left Tulsi Gabbard as the last woman in the race. But since establishment Democrats don’t like or care about Tulsi Gabbard, House Speaker Nancy Speaker is blaming Warren’s defeat on… misogyny?
That’s right. Nancy thinks Democrats don’t like women enough to elect one president.
‘I do think there is a certain element of misogyny that’s there’
“I think the American people are ready for a woman president.” CNN’s Manu Raj reported Pelosi saying. Pelosi also added that “I do think there is a certain element of misogyny that’s there.”

So Democrats Are Misogynists? Even the Women?
Well, there you go, Dems! If you did not get behind Elizabeth Warren, no matter what you think your reasons were, Pelosi is here to tell you it is because you are “insecure” about your manhood and that prevents you from voting for a female. The same apparently goes for women Democrats.

Why Don’t Dems Back Tulsi Gabbard Now?
If supporting women was a priority for Pelosi or most Democrats, why wouldn’t they be rallying to Gabbard right now? She is their last female option for 2020.
For the same reason they wouldn’t support a Republican woman for president or any other office–they see Tulsi as an outsider and therefore she is not part of their party. Gabbard has been the only 2020 Dem candidate that hasn’t focused primarily on attacking and being obsessed with President Donald Trump.
Therefore she’s the enemy. Even if she is a woman.

News to Nancy: Some Voters Care About More Than Just Gender
Did it ever occur to Pelosi that many Democrats didn’t support Warren because they didn’t like her policies? Or does she really think her own party is that dumb that members would never pay attention to policy or other substantive matters.
The problem isn’t with women, but what kind of women the Democratic Party has offered. Elizabeth Warren was a rotten option.
And Nancy Pelosi might be the worst example of them all.
