Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Calls for Speaker Ryan’s Resignation Following Trump Tweet

**UPDATE**

After Judge Jeanine’s show aired, Speaker Ryan revealed that the president personally called him to apologize for the Fox News host’s comments.

On Friday, House Republicans pulled a scheduled vote on the American Health Care Act, after leaders failed to round up enough Republican votes for passage.

The bill, which was heavily promoted by House Speaker Paul Ryan and his allies on the Hill, represents a major setback for establishment Republicans. While President Trump placed much of the blame for the bill’s demise on House Democrats, who refused to work with the President and Republicans, a Saturday morning tweet may have signaled his true feelings about who’s to blame.

Originally, the President placed part of the blame on the House Freedom Caucus, which was unwilling to back the establishment bill:

However, less than 24 hours later, the President encouraged his millions of followers to tune in and watch a Fox News show… one that ended up making major waves:

So what did Judge Jeanine say following the president’s call to watch her show? Well, the Fox News host openly called for Speaker Paul Ryan to resign from his leadership role, saying that “he failed to deliver the votes on his health care bill.”

From Fox News:

The one that he had seven years to work on. The one he hid under lock and key in the basement of Congress. The one that had to be pulled to prevent the embarrassment of not having enough votes to pass.

But this bill didn’t just fail — it failed when Republicans had the House, the Senate, the White House.

And the timing? It failed within the first 70 days of President Donald Trump’s administration. A president who made replacement of ObamaCare the hallmark of his campaign. And then used valuable political capital to accomplish it.

Americans elected the one man they believed could do it. A complete outsider. Someone beholden to no one — but them.

And Speaker Ryan, you come in, with all your swagger and experience, and you sell him a bill of goods which ends up a complete and total failure. And you allow our president, in his first one hundred days, to come out of the box like that? Based on what?  Your legislative expertise? Your knowledge of the arcane ins and outs of the bill writing process? Your relationships? What? Your drinks at the Hay-Adams with your pals?

Folks, I want to be clear: this is NOT on President Trump. No one expected a businessman to completely understand the nuances, the complicated ins and outs of Washington and its legislative process. How would he know which individuals upon whom he would be able to rely? Many of them, friends and establishment colleagues of Speaker Ryan.

Here’s video of Judge Jeanine’s full comments:

Following Judge Jeanine’s call for Speaker Ryan’s resignation, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus quickly tried to distance her comments from the President, telling Fox News’ Chris Wallace that President Trump supports Speaker Ryan and the tweet was “more coincidental” and “there was no pre-planning here.”

Interesting!

Do you believe that President Trump’s tweet was simply coincidental and he really stands behind Speaker Ryan? Or is he using Fox News’ Judge Jeanine to channel his true feelings? Share your thoughts below!

  1. They write, “No one expected a businessman to completely understand the nuances, the complicated ins and outs of Washington and its legislative process.”

Keep the bar low, Trump can’t handle anything too hard.

  2. I believe Trump should call for ryan”s resignation. ryan does NOT want obamacare repealed and replaced. In fact, the GOP establishment doesn’t want that to happen. They are going to fight President Trump on everything he does. And as for the leaks, I have read over the weekend that john mccain was the one who leaked classified information. So what is going to happen to him or is nothing going to be done about this coward and liar.

  3. No More Mr. Nice Guy

Defunding Planned Parenthood was never contingent of Repealing and Replacing OBAMACIDE.
None of the multitude of promises made by Trump were contingent on keeping any other or all other promises. Defunding the EVIL known as planned parenthood can be accomplished based on it’s own demerits.

  4. Republican congress are swo used to losing they dont know what to with a majority. Next election we get rid of all the rinos, cowards, and idiots who only serve themselves and the people supplying the bribe money.

    1. Fred, that’ll never happen! Too many low information voters continue to re-elect the garbage. McCain should’ve been gone years ago, but he’s still in there. If people are getting freebies, they’re not fixing to vote for somebody that might take it away from them.

  5. I really feel that there are several other things that need to be taken care of first, like Big Pharma controlling everything. Did you know that around 25 Natural Cure Dr.s have been murdered in the last 1 1/2 yrs.? None of the cases have been solved, some were made to look like suicide, but still questionable. The control of the ins. co.s, did you know that the co-pay for physical therapy is now $40.00 a treatment, and they need you to go 2 -3 times a week. What is really sad is that they don’t give a damn if we live of die. We really can’t blame the Dr.s because the pharmaceutical co.s are the ones that teach the Dr.s., but the Dr.s attitudes have changed and they don’t even know that sugar feeds cancer, and our country has know since 1925.

  6. MOST people NEVER TRUSTED him. He still have Obama blood running through his veins.I also DON’T TRUST CRUZ. WATCH HIM.For the same reason i didn’t trust RYAN, WAKE UP.
Cruz took to many plane rides with Obama.I HAVE PICTURES , And they DON”T LIE.

  7. Paul Ryan is too weak to be Speaker….he is no leader…..besides he can’t be trusted…he has his own agenda. WATCH OUT FOR HIM HE NEVER WANTED TO SUPPORT TRUMP AND HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY SOMEONE WHO IS LOYAL TO THE PRESIDENT.

  8. Ryan needs to be replaced because he has from day one went against Trump. Now he has done a turn about but still is willing to back away at the least resistance. He is a GOP elite who opens his mouth before he puts his brain in gear. He will do much damage to the other Trump promises, like the budget and he needs to be put out of power.

  9. Ryan should have resigned a long time ago. He’s been against Trump from the beginning and fought as hard as he could to keep Trump out of office and he still is. Ryan isn’t intelligent enough to replace Obama Care and is trying to appease the Democrats by keeping the same architecture and only changing a couple of things. He’s nothing but a two headed snake.

  10. Ryan is a snake and should resign. I never trusted him. He thinks he is something but he is not has nothing to show and the bill sucked as it was. I have a much better plan and sent it to Trump. Just wonder if he ever gets to see it or even could talk to me about it. I feel ignored while a know nothing like Ryan screws things up.

  11. If President stands behind paul ryan the president is not as smart as we who voted for him believed him to be. If he continues to stand behind ‘little pauly’ I hope the president is standing far behind.

  12. Ryan was NEVER to be trusted – he is pure 100% establishment and will never work for the benefit of either President Trump, or his administration, and not the American people either. He has his agenda and his cronies and it is all left of center AND geared to protect and isolate the establishment games, ploys, agenda, and nefarious acts.

  13. If they are not his true feelings, they should be. Why o why would anyone trust that man who made such a noisy spectacle of himself by so publically and noisily distancing himself from Trump during the campaign. I have never seen more weasel like actions in my life. Later, after Trump won, he again weaseled himself back as if he supported him. If that didn’t nauseate people, what would? When questioned about his most recent turnabout after Trump won, Trump said, “He growson you like a fine wine.” It occurred to me at the time that Trump doesn’t drink. I thought I got the message way back then.
