Now we’re starting to understand why Democrats are beginning to back away from the Russia investigation.
A few days ago Democrat Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut said, “The fact that we have spent so much time talking about Russia has been a distraction.” Hmmm, I wonder WHY they are only now admitting it has been a distraction?
Maybe because they’ve found ZERO evidence connecting President Trump to Russia, and instead all the Obama Administration’s dirty laundry is being exposed for the world to see. In Democrats’ foolhardy rush to investigate they are damaging the reputation of their own former president.
The Washington Post just published a big article about what happened behind the scenes in the Obama administration last year on Russia. According to what the Post describes as “a former senior Obama administration official involved in White House deliberations on Russia,” the administration dropped the ball: “I feel like we sort of choked.”
They totally choked! All the Russian espionage and hacking happened under Obama’s watch and yet liberals and the media want to blame it on Trump and use it to delegitimize his election win and presidency!
Here’s what President Trump said in response to the Washington Post report:

Good questions!
The Washington Examiner made some good points about how Obama’s inaction against Russia interference before the election is damning:
[Obama] “feared that any action would be seen as political and that Putin, motivated by a seething resentment of Clinton, was prepared to go beyond fake news and email dumps.”
It’s a pathetic excuse.
For one, it implies Obama feared that by upsetting Putin, the Russian leader might have leaked more damaging information on Clinton. More importantly however, it reflects how Obama was consistently out-escalated by the Russian leader.
Put simply, Obama got scared.
This WaPo report is just reminding us about how pathetic a leader Obama was.
Meanwhile, the Democrats’ Russia witch hunt has trapped two Obama officials:
Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch is now under Senate investigation because of Former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony that she interfered with the Clinton email investigation. Of course, we found that out when Comey was called in for questioning about President Trump’s non-existent dealings with Russia.
We also found out that former National Security Advisor Susan Rice inappropriately unmasked private citizens associated with President Trump’s administration and campaign who were incidentally caught up in intelligence surveillance of Russia.
Who will be next? I’m not so sure Democrats want to know. That’s why some of them (smartly) want to move on.

This was an attack on Trump and the GOP….No words or action will change the facts…..Comey knew who was behind the Russian deal……Obama and Lynch …..I bet all the top democrats knew……
They are crooks, one and all! Indict, try, convict and jail them from Hillary and Obama to Lynch, Wasserman-Schultz and Rice. Oh, and don’t forget Comey the rat as well.

obama choked on every single thing he did just like jimmy carter did, just like bill clinton did. liberal progressives have an agenda when they enter the white house and to hell with everything outside that agenda. clintons agenda was to fill his own pockets as much as possible and the pockets of his friends, and campaign contributors, obamas agenda was to destroy this nation from with in and set up a shadow government thru which he could still pull the strings of his corrupt government. obama placed key figures in key positions that would leak stuff to the press so the ress could crucify trump on a daily basis, obama placed people in key positions in the state department, fbi, cia, nsa, homeland security and the justice department to obstruct hinder and stop any executive order that trump could issue and bog the trump administration from carrying out their agenda. most importantly obama placed key people in positions that could obstruct and hide evidence that would land them all in prison for the rest of their lives. obama had an agenda when he entered the office of president of the united states, and that agenda was to destroy the moral fiber of the united states and its citizens and make changes so that the liberal progressive terrorist party could maintain control of the government even when they are not in a position to do so outwardly. trump needs to take a broad brush and scrub away all people hired and appointed under the obama administration for working counter to the elected government! fire them, strip them of all their pension and benefits then arrest and convict them if they have committed any crime. the people in the statedepartment who have been handeling the susan rice unmasking stuff should all be fired and arrested then if convicted of obstructing justice and tampering with evidence they should be stripped of all benefits and their pension for braking their contract with the united states citizens to do their job !
I guaranty you that the WaPo piece is an act of desperation by Obama and his loyalists. It is dishonest from beginning to end. The truth is much darker. My theory: It was never the Russians. Obama was having our “intelligence community” spy on Hellary, her campaign and the DNC. The administration was Wikileaks source. That’s why they did nothing to prevent the spying, they were conducting the spying. Doesn’t that make more sense than the Obama drivel about national security, law enforcement, diplomacy and foreign policy, “being too political”? When did Obama ever worry about appearing too political?
I truly believe that the Clintons and O’Bama were tighter with the Russians than Trump ever planned on being. This is a big smoke screen to cover up their own dirt and “Hide it under someone else’s carpet”. BIG FRAME JOB AGAINST THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES… PUT THEM IN JAIL FOR A LOOONNNNGGGG TIME.
I don’t believe they “choked” at all…they thought the meddling would help Hillary! And, when it didn’t, they wanted to blame President Trump! You could tell by all of Hillary’s “smirks” during the debates that she was 100% certain that she had it in the bag! What a disappointment when she didn’t win!
