New Poll Shows Majority Of Democrats Want To Ditch Biden And Replace Him With Andrew Cuomo

Former Vice President Joe Biden just got some very bad news when a new poll showed that the majority of Democrats would like to drop him and make New York Governor Andrew Cuomo the presidential nominee.

The poll showed that 56 percent of Democrats want to make Cuomo the nominee while just 42 percent prefer to stick with Biden, according to The New York Post. This is very bad for Biden given the fact that the 12-point margin separating them is well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic poll.

The poll showed that hispanic voters, young people, women and self-identified liberals are particularly interested in dumping Biden for Cuomo. The sample was carried out between April 3 and April 6 by the Pro-market Club for Growth, a conservative group that typically supports Republican candidates.

Club for Growth vice president of communications Joe Kildea explained that the polls shows just how weak a candidate Biden really is.

“With every major news event, Democrats realize more and more how bad of a candidate Joe Biden is, and Democrats now preferring Cuomo is just another example,” Kildea said.

Though Cuomo has repeatedly denied having any interesting running for president, he has been making headlines around the country in recent weeks with New York being at the center of the coronavirus pandemic. Last month, President Donald Trump said that Cuomo would be a better candidate than Biden, who he said is not “capable” of being president.

“We want to always make sure that we have a great president — we have somebody that’s capable. I personally don’t think Joe Biden is capable,” Trump told “Fox & Friends.”

“I wouldn’t mind running against Andrew. I have known Andrew for a long time,” he added. “I wouldn’t mind that. But I’ll be honest, I think he’d be a better candidate than Sleepy Joe.”

CNN host Chris Cuomo asked his brother last month, “With all of this adulation you’re getting for doing your job, are you thinking about running for president?”

“No, no,” the governor replied.

“No, you won’t answer?” Chris said before he hit his older brother with some hypotheticals.

“No,” the governor replied convincingly again.

Though Biden is now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, he has struggled to find support from the very beginning of this race. If he doesn’t watch his back, he may indeed soon find himself thrown out in the cold in favor of being replaced by Cuomo.
