New Poll Shows Biden Approval Among Black Voters Tanking

A recent poll shows that President Joe Biden’s support among black voters has gone down significantly, along with his overall polling numbers.

This survey was conducted by Emerson College.

Biden’s Biggest Drop In Approval Comes From Black Americans

“The November Emerson College national poll finds President Joe Biden at 50% disapproval and a 41% approval,” the survey reported. “Biden’s approval is down five points since the last Emerson national poll in September, when he was at 46% approval and 47% disapproval.”

Emerson noted, “The President’s current numbers have almost reversed from February when his approval was at 49% approval and 39% disapproval.”

But the biggest approval drop for Biden is among black Americans.

“The drop in approval is greatest among Black/African-American voters, moving from 72% approval in February to 52% approval in November,” Emerson noted.

The survey added, “Hispanic support dropped from 56% approval to 50% approval, and approval among White voters dropped from 43% to 38% approval.”

A 20% drop is incredible.

This poll’s findings come as many Americans disfavor the president’s Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, with Emerson finding that a plurality, 39 percent, say the policies would have a “negative” impact on their life.

September Poll Showed A Similar Trend

On the labor market, in July white employment rose by 1.1 million and Asian employment increased by around 267,000. But black employment and also Hispanic employment declined.

Biden’s sinking approval ratings among black voters track what a September Morning Consult poll also found, with the president losing support from this group of Americans after the announcement of the federal vaccine mandate.

The survey, taken November 3-4, 2021, among 1,000 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.
