NBC News Analyst: Trump Ordering Flags at Half-Staff is a Nod to White Supremacists and Hitler

Frank Figliuzzi, a top FBI official during Obama’s first term and current NBC News analyst, claims that President Trump’s lowering of flags to half-staff to honor victims of the El Paso and Dayton shootings is a secret shoutout to White Supremacists and Nazis.

“Through our grief, America stands united with the people of El Paso and Dayton,” Trump said in a proclamation ordering the lowering of the flags. “May God be with the victims of these two horrific crimes and bring aid and comfort to their families and friends.”

The President then ordered that all American flags at military installations, federal facilities, and the White House be flown at half-staff until sunset on August 8, 2019, “as a mark of solemn respect” for the victims of the shootings.

Flags Lowered, Also White Supremacy

In an interview with Brian Williams of MSNBC, Figliuzzi claims that August 8th is a wink and a nod to the KKK.

Prep yourself for this explanation too, the mental gymnastics are guaranteed to blow your mind.

Figliuzzi quantifies his comments by saying he can’t assume for certain that the President did this on purpose, but rather it is a reflection of his “ignorance” that he – like most of America – sees no covert white supremacist message coming from the 8th day of August.

“The president says that we will fly our flags at half-mast until August  8, that’s 8/8,” the Obama-era official frets. “Now I’m not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that’s being demonstrated by the White House.”

“The numbers 8/8 are very significant in the neo-Nazi and the white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter ‘H’ is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them, the numbers 8/8 stand for ‘Heil Hitler.”

You just blew our minds, Chief.

Brian Williams Helps Push the Conspiracy Theory

You would expect that a fairly well-established journalist in Brian Williams would immediately push back on a conspiracy theory of this magnitude – you know, on par with the moon landing being faked or the 9/11 terror attacks being an inside job – but you’d be wrong.

Williams actually pushes it a little further, helping Figliuzzi claim that this secret shoutout to white supremacists may have come from someone within the President’s inner circle.

“You’re saying it’s possible someone who knows better is offering or editing the words that show up and are read verbatim, or are supposed to be read verbatim by the President?” asked Williams.

After a long pause, Figliuzzi responds that he is indeed concerned about who is writing Trump’s speeches and alleges some material may actually be worse because the President rejects some of those messages.

Got that? Trump, through ignorance, supports Hitler, and his speechwriter is secretly a Klansman. Can you imagine if this kind of weapons-grade stupidity were being spouted on Fox News?

More Conspiracies

It looks like, in this man’s world, nobody can ever do anything on August 8th or it equates to you being a white supremacist.

The Governor of Maine would also fall into that category it seems. In 2015, Barack Obama celebrated the Voting Rights Act on August 8th, clearly a nod to the KKK.

Bear in mind, as dumb as this sounds, Figliuzzi may have one-upped himself in another interview the same day, in which he compared the President to a radical cleric who promotes jihad by sharing beheading videos.
