MSNBC Host Tiffany Cross Calls Black Republican Speeches ‘Minstrel Show’

That's how low the Democrats have fallen.

MSNBC Tiffany Cross

Many were edified and inspired by the speeches last week at the Republican National Convention. Some of the best of the oratory bunch came from black Republicans there to show their support for President Donald Trump.

Powerful Speeches From Black Republicans

NFL legend Herschel Walker gave a personal appeal on behalf of the president as his friend. Alice Johnson brought down the house with her powerful cadence of redemption and support for the president. And Senator Tim Scott’s line “…from cotton to Congress in one lifetime” will be remembered long after this convention is forgotten.

These were heartfelt poignant words of patriotism and dedication to traditional American principles of freedom and equality under the law. But some who don’t share those American values are very frightened of the words spoken by Walker, Johnson, and Scott. Looking at the president’s rising poll numbers in the black community, they are terrified black Americans will cast off the chains of the Democrat political plantation and start thinking for themselves and in their own best interests.

MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross Disrespects Black Conservatives

One of those people, a DC non-entity named Tiffany Cross, had a sub gig over the weekend for the loony Joy Reid. Tiffany, who must have had a bad breakfast on Sunday and thus was in a cross mood, decided to use racial slurs to insult black Americans who spoke at the convention. Here she is in all her Kluxer glory:

“That was not a Saturday Night Live sketch. I watched the Republican convention, and seeing the slew of black speakers that they had, it really did look like a modern-day minstrel show to me.”

Wow. If a Republican had said that about Kamala Harris or Rep. Ayanna Pressley, there would be hell to pay. But aside from Fox News and conservative media outlets like this one, you’ll nary hear a word of it.

Cross Hit With Backlash

Though several conservative social media mavens did have their say, “Cross, I assure you that none of the BLACK Patriots that were speaking great about President Trump & his accomplishments were not wearing Black-Face!” a “John E” tweeted in response to Cross.

“And this my friends is what the Progressive Liberal Marxist Elite think of our Brothers and Sisters in God who are not white, as Tiffany D Cross @TiffanyDCross states, they are nothing more than puppets in a ‘Minstrel Show,'” tweeted legit critic “WG.”

These individuals are correct. What we see here from Cross is not commentary, but scared frustration. She sees Trump’s polling numbers going up across the board. She reads of perhaps a 36% approval rating for the president in the black community. That is unheard of since the Eisenhower administration. She knows the Republicans got a convention bump and with Joe Biden planning to come down with coronavirus in the second to third week of September (a very nice call by two readers, Ivy Arlitt and Evie Gee), Biden’s numbers will drop even more. So Cross is scared, very scared. Let’s hope between now and November, all her political nightmares come true.
