Blind hatred can sometimes lead to some really, really stupid reactions to our President.
Such is the case for Wall Street Journal reporter and MSNBC contributor, Eli Stokols.
Stokols discussed the recent New York City terrorist attack that killed eight people on a Manhattan bike path, along with the subsequent reaction from President Trump.
Trump immediately demanded changes in the immigration policies that allowed Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbekistan native, to enter the country. He also demanded the terrorist receive the death penalty.
NYC terrorist was happy as he asked to hang ISIS flag in his hospital room. He killed 8 people, badly injured 12. SHOULD GET DEATH PENALTY!

Stokols was outraged that the President didn’t have an equally vociferous response to the Las Vegas shooter, including demanding the death penalty.
One obvious problem – Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas gunman, is already dead, having succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot at the end of his rampage.
Stokols must have forgotten that one glaring and well-known fact.
“The unifying thread is sort of the broad politics of Donald Trump, the ethno-centric nationalism,” he surmised. “He did not react this way when a white person shot dozens of people in Las Vegas.”
“He did not come and say we need to do an immediate policy change, we need to give this guy the death penalty.”

Son, you have to be a special kind of stupid.
So hell-bent was Stokols on making his ‘Trump is a racist’ media talking point, that he thinks the President should demand the death penalty for someone who’s already dead.
This is what passes for intelligent analysis on MSNBC.
Maybe Stokols is still ticked off about that time Trump told reporters he would hold a press conference on Barack Obama’s birth certificate, only to have military veterans come out and voice their support for his campaign.
To be fair, MSNBC wasn’t the only outlet pushing their outrage over Trump’s failure to demand the death penalty in the Las Vegas case. GQ had to issue this embarrassing correction …

“Probably?”
What’s a detail like that matter to a mainstream media that criticizes everything the President does?
