Miss Texas Delivered a Message During Pageant That Sent Liberals Reeling

Beauty queen and Miss Texas, Ylianna Guerra, delivered a pro-American and pro-capitalism message during Sunday’s Miss USA Pageant that must have left liberals picking their glass jaws off the floor in shock.

After all, in leftist spheres, discussing hard work and attaining wealth through that work is frowned upon. Especially coming from a beautiful woman.

Yet Guerra, during an interview portion of the pageant, wasn’t about to get cornered by a question on ‘income inequality.’

Via the Free Beacon:

At one point in Sunday’s show, Guerra was asked whether the government should “impose boundaries on salaries of executives,” according to The Blaze. Miss Texas responded by expressing support for America as the land of opportunity.

“If you work hard enough, you can attain anything,” Guerra said. “This is the land of opportunity and CEOs—I believe they work hard enough for their money, so I believe they should be able to attain whatever it is they’re working for.”

Watch below …

Liberals of course, dutifully attacked Miss Texas, saying she had implied that women and minorities “don’t [sic] [work] as hard as middle aged white men.”

Because in liberal land, celebrating the hard work of others means you’re actually denigrating others for working less. Or something.

Guerra would go on to be named first runner up in the Miss USA Pageant.

What did you think of Miss Texas’ pro-capitalist answer to income limitations?
