America has lost the value of being grateful. People don’t say thank you. People are selfish. People take it for granted that things will be done no matter what, because someone else is going to do it. But not all people.
Most kids are taught manners by their parents when they are little children. As we grow, and intermingle with other kids, it seems as if the manners are lost and sometimes we have to be reminded by our parents on occasion.
But as teenagers, most kids have lost their manners and do not want to be bothered. This little girl in the video below should remind everyone that we all should be grateful, even for the littlest of things. We might not always get what we want when we want it, but things will always work out in the end.

I know your heart melted when you watched how she reacted to her present. Just remember something that small filled her life with joy, and she let her mom know just how much it meant to her. We need to remember this trait with our kids, and for ourselves.
Being grateful works everywhere and never grows old. Not only does the receiver feel great in showing this emotion, the giver feels satisfaction with how they were able to help out and make someone else feel joy.
