Lindsey Graham Calls For Biden Impeachment

This is the right move.

Biden Lindsey Graham

There are those who called for Joe Biden’s impeachment because they didn’t vote for him. Others because they don’t like him. Still others because he’s not a Republican or conservative.

They were all wrong and advocated using impeachment as a political weapon just like the Democrats unfairly did against Trump.

Biden Needs To Be Impeached

Impeachment is actually a constitutional remedy for a president who has committed heinous acts. After his recent actions in Afghanistan, the lies, the cowardice, the public mental breakdowns, the abandonment of Americans and our allies, yes now, these qualify. Joe Biden needs to be impeached.

This isn’t about a phone call or a riot falsely turned into a threat to the republic. This is about a president who, perhaps sentiently and perhaps not, has put Americans in danger by word and deed. If he was conscious of whatever he was doing, impeach him.

If, as this analyst suspects, he is in a state of mental impairment and is being used by others to carry out their plans, then use the 25th Amendment and remove him from office. One problem, those who could use the 25th could be exactly the same people who control him now.

“Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., asserted Sunday that not only is the war in Afghanistan not ending with the Aug. 31 U.S. withdrawal, it is only going to get worse. After a suicide bombing at the airport in Kabul killed 13 American service members, Graham warned of ‘the parade of horribles that are about to unfold’ as a result of President Biden’s decisions.”

Graham Sounds Off

“President Biden said that he wanted to take this, Afghanistan, off the plate for future presidents. He’s done the exact opposite,” Graham told CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

“For the next 20 years, American presidents will be dealing with this catastrophe in Afghanistan,” Graham added. “This war has not ended, we’ve entered into a new, deadly chapter. Terrorists are now in charge of Afghanistan.”

Graham Doubles Down

When asked what he would have done as president, Graham said, “Well, number one, I wouldn’t have withdrawn.”

He said he would have kept ground forces and held the Taliban to the terms of the agreement they made with Trump. Graham also reiterated his call for Biden to be impeached.

“I think it’s dereliction of duty to leave hundreds of Americans behind enemy lines, turn them into hostages, to abandon thousands of Afghans who have fought honorably along our side, to create conditions for another 9/11 that are now through the roof,” Graham said.

“I don’t think he got bad advice and took it, I think he ignored sound advice,” he concluded. “And this is Joe Biden being Joe Biden. He’s been this way for 40 years but now he’s the commander in chief, he’s not a senator, he’s not the vice president.”
