College football fans love President Trump.
At least, their cheers from last night’s championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide indicate as much. When President Trump appeared on the field, the stands exploded with positive encouragement.
When it came time for the National Anthem, President Trump stood proudly with service members to pay his respect to our flag and our country.
People noticed something strange, however. As the Anthem played, President Trump sang along:

If you look closely, it appears that Trump’s signing is out of sync with the tempo of the Anthem.
Because liberals are full of hate and self-loathing, they had to make a fuss about it. We all know how the left supported washed-up NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s protests against the National Anthem. But liberals weren’t complaining about that. This time, they made it about Trump’s mental health.

Seriously now. Is Trump suffering from mental illness? He didn’t even know the words to the anthem last night, after all the fuss he made about it. If he is sick he needs help. And he needs to be far away from the kind of power he yields.

Conservative novelist Brad Thor is having none of it. On Twitter, he pointed out that, because of the stadium acoustics and the reverb from the sound system, Trump was, in fact, singing along appropriately with the National Anthem:

The BBC’s Anthony Zurcher confirmed Brad’s insight:
For those grousing about Trump seemingly not knowing the words to the national anthem: 1) He's hard of hearing and 2) down on the field, the sound bounces around a lot and it's hard to decipher the music. Singing along wouldn't be easy for him.

It’s doubtful that any of this reasoning will convince liberals that President Trump isn’t mentally ill. The left is hell bent on removing Trump from office by any means necessary. Citing a lack of mental fitness is just one ways liberals and journalists try to smear sitting Republican presidents. They did it to George W. Bush, they did it to Ronald Reagan, and they did it to Richard Nixon. Questioning a president’s mental ability comes straight out of the liberal playbook.
The President clearly knows the Anthem. Any assertion otherwise is a desperate attack meant to tear Trump down.
