Are you tired of winning yet? Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his resignation last night, and with that, a reliably conservative judge will take his place. Instead of the recent 5-4 rulings we’ve seen thanks to Neil Gorsuch, we could be seeing a court leaning to the Right, 6-3.
On the other side of the fence were those who must be tired of losing by now. In response to the news, which came after a number of Trump administration officials were harassed and threatened by mobs this past week, liberals were quick to call for even more harassment and violence:
Elaine Chao’s gonna have to quit her job so she can work full-time making sure nobody confronts her husband in public. bc I guarantee you, everywhere. he. goes.

Thread: I've said before that I'm a pacifist, even going so far as to say I believe violence in self-defense isn't justifiable. With the #MuslimBan #SCOTUS decision & #Kennedyretiring, my ex-Muslim, 1st-gen immigrant friend make a comment: "See you in the concentration camps."

To every white person reading this:
White silence is violence. When immigrant lives are under attack, what do we do?
Stand up! Fight back!
If you've ever been asked, "What would you do with a time machine?" & thought, "I'd kill Hitler," let me remind you, lots of people tried.

We say fight back. New times, new strategies and tactics, but the struggle for peace and freedom, Joy and justice continues. The people, yes! https://t.co/pYQw5d1jd8

like I know we're not supposed to encourage political violence but if any Dem senator is willing to meet with Trump's SCOTUS pick the other Dem senators should kick them in the balls

Ahead of the midterms, the left has been turning up the dials on their hysterical rhetoric, and nonchalantly calling for strife, harassment, and sometimes open violence.
Even on issues where they are demonstrably wrong, like Trump’s strict policies against illegal immigration. Despite all the nonsense we’ve heard about the Trump administration “separating families,” the Department of Health and Human Services’s records say there were as many as 10,852 children in their custody at the end of May. Meanwhile, in 2013, Obama’s HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement had 25,000 unaccompanied minors in their care. The majority of children in HHS care today came across the border as unaccompanied minors, meaning there was no family for them to be separated from.
But that hasn’t stopped leftwing activists from harassing DHS Secretary Kristjen Nielsen at her home. Or leaving dead animal carcasses on DHS officials’ front door steps. Or stalking White House staffers at their homes. It’s getting so out of hand, one GOP Congressman has received more death threats in the last year than all other years combined, and Trump staffers are being encouraged to arm themselves.
Regardless of the reality of the situation, the rhetoric that Trump is responsible for an issue that was worse under the Obama administration has been effective. And while all this protesting and harassing is so far mostly just talk, our society could be in serious danger.
A new Rasmussen poll this week finds that the public is feeling the tension, too. As the Daily Mail reported: “The poll revealed that 31 per cent of Americans believe that the US will experience a second civil war within the next five years. Meanwhile, 59 per cent of US citizens are fearful that those who are opposed to President Donald Trump’s policies will result to violence. Of those surveyed, 44 per cent of African Americans believe that a second civil war is imminent, a view shared by 28 per cent of whites and 36 per cent of other minority voters.”
If there is to be violence, there certainly is no question that it’ll be coming from the Left.
