Liberals Protesters Harass DHS Sec. Nielsen at Her Own Home

DHS Secretary protesters

Earlier this week, a Socialist spotted Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen at MCDC Cocina Mexicana restaurant in D.C., a few blocks from the White House. She then spread her location on Twitter, and a local Democratic Socialist group showed up to shout at her as she ate.

“How can you enjoy a Mexican dinner as you’re deporting … tens of thousands of people who come here seeking asylum in the United States” one protester is heard saying. They also chanted “abolish ICE” and “shame, shame, shame!!” mindlessly in unison. (RELATED: Socialists Harass DHS Secretary Nielsen at D.C. Restaurant).

It would appear they aren’t letting up either. Sec. Nielsen has a target on her back, and now protesters are following her wherever she goes, including her own home. As reported by the Daily Wire: “At 7:30 a.m. Friday, roughly two dozen protesters showed up at the Washington, D.C. townhouse of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, played an audio clip of illegal immigrants’ children who had been detained, and chanted, ‘Free the kids!'”

Watch below – and note that there seem to be just as many journalists as protesters:

The protest was organized by a group called CREDO Action. The group takes its name from the telecommunications firm CREDO Mobile, which created and funds progressive activities through CREDO Action.

When Nielsen left her home, protesters again chanted “Shame!” and “You belong in the Hague! You’re a modern-day Nazi” as she drove off.

The co-director of CREDO Action, Heidi Hess, said of the protest “A lot of attention has been on the border, and rightly so, on the children and the families and the detention centers there, but I think the thing that we know is that the people that are making the decisions resulting those detention centers are here in DC.”

She continued, ”We feel like it’s really important to hold them accountable everywhere.”

Still, no word on how harassing people at their homes is “holding them accountable.”

While Nielsen is a public figure, she deserves to have privacy, such as during dinner and at home, but the left doesn’t seem to care because it interferes with their agenda.
