Hysteria surrounding the Confederate flag as a symbol of racism has already reached into the entertainment business, but liberal kooks looking to pick a fight with Kid Rock just may have crossed a line they don’t really want to.
via AllNewsPipeline:
Previously Kid Rock had responded to the controversy by telling Detroit Free Press “Everybody knows where I stand and what I’m about… It’s not about hatred or being a racist. I like Southern rock music, and a lot of people died under that flag for beliefs they had, right or wrong. But it stands for rebel, and my love of Southern rock.”
The Michigan chapter of the National Action Network, Al Sharpton’s organization, recently asked Kid Rock to denounce the flag and stop displaying it at his concerts.
Well, Kid Rock has a special message for Sharpton.
“Kiss my ass.”
Rock sent the message directly to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly to read to her viewers. She modified it somewhat, but the message was clear.

Megyn first reminded viewers how Kid Rock likely has done more to support Detroit than any other artist through a charitable foundation, and how ridiculous it was to call the rocker a racist given that he had a half-Black son, Bobby Jr.
Then she read his response on the air, “modifying” it for a family audience:
“Please Tell The People Who Are Protesting to ‘Kiss My . . . ask me some questions.’”
Brilliant. Classic Kid Rock. Take that, Sharpton.

Is it about time some people hit back on the critics of the Confederate flag in the same manner Kid Rock has? Or do you agree with those saying anything to do with the flag should be boycotted and banned?
