Joe Biden’s doctor addressed what one would hope to be a foregone conclusion – that the presidential candidate “has a brain that is functioning.”
Dr. Neal Kassell, who performed surgery on Biden three decades ago for a pair of brain aneurysms, assures the American voter that the Democrat suffered no brain damage as a result.
“He is every bit as sharp as he was 31 years ago. I haven’t seen any change,” Kassell declared. “I can tell you with absolute certainty that he had no brain damage, either from the hemorrhage or from the operations that he had. There was no damage whatsoever.”
Insisting on Biden’s cognitive abilities as questions swirl about his debate performances echoes Senator Elizabeth Warren’s efforts to convince people that she was in fact Native American.
Perhaps 1/1024th of Biden’s brain is functioning.

Functioning Brain
Kassell went so far as to say he’d be casting a vote for Biden because, unlike the rest of the field of candidates, he’s the only one not acting like the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.
“I am going to vote for the candidate who I am absolutely certain has a brain that is functioning,” Kassell said without evidence. “And that narrows it down exactly to one.”
Ouch.

Immediately Makes a Gaffe
Biden followed up his doctor’s insistence that his mind is intact by immediately committing a gaffe, something he is well-known for doing on a consistent basis.
On Tuesday, speaking to a crowd in Iowa, Biden said that Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. were “assassinated in the ’70s.”
Both were assassinated in 1968.

It was the latest example of Biden ‘misspeaking’ as the media would say, whereas if Trump had a slip of the tongue, they’d call it ‘lying.’
Earlier this month, the former vice president ‘misspoke’ when he revealed that he thinks all poor kids are minorities.
“We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor you cannot do it,” Biden said at an event in Iowa. “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
Prior to that, he claimed his first act as President would be to “defeat Donald Trump.”
Full Deck?
Speaking to reporters outside the White House a few weeks ago, President Trump questioned Biden’s functioning brain.
“Look, Joe is not playing with a full deck,” said Trump. “This is not somebody you can have as your president — but if he got the [Democratic] nomination I’d be thrilled.”
It isn’t just Trump.
“I think Joe Biden, his performance on the stage kind of raised some questions with respect to that. But I don’t want to say just because someone is 79, they can’t or shouldn’t run for president,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said during an interview last month.
“I don’t want to use those proxies, a number as a proxy for capacity. I think you have to assess a person’s capacity kind of on a case-by-case basis,” she added.
Here’s a frightening thought – this doctor thinks the only Democrat in the field with any brain ‘capacity’ is Biden.
