When CBS News Errol Barnett asked Joe Biden if he had taken a cognitive test during an interview on Wednesday, the former vice president was not happy about it.

Biden responded by asking Barnett if he’s a “junkie” and also used his signature “C’mon man” response, which he often employs when someone asks a question he doesn’t want to answer.

Biden fires back: ‘Why the hell would I take a test? C’mon man’

“No, I haven’t taken a test,” Biden said. “Why the hell would I take a test? C’mon man.”

“That’s like saying you, before you got in this program, if you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not, what do you think, huh?” Biden continued.

“Are you a junkie?” Biden needled Barnett.

Biden has a mixed record on whether or not he has – or thinks he has – taken cognitive tests.

The Daily Caller demonstrated this confusion with a tweet on Wednesday that read, “Have you taken a cognitive test?’

“Joe Biden on June 30: “I’m constantly tested. All you have to do is watch me.”

“Joe Biden today: ‘No I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test?”

Conservative pundits weigh in

Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk noted that Biden has straight up lied about whether he has taken a test, tweeting, “Joe Biden didn’t contradict or “clarify” about taking a cognitive test. Let me help you, @CNN: Joe Biden LIED, he has not taken a cognitive test.”

Jesse Kelly pondered the practicality of a President Biden, tweeting, “Imagine this man walking into a meeting with other world leaders and negotiating on behalf of The United States of America.”

Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza wondered if Biden had racist intent, or at least was mocking the media’s double standard when it comes to how they treat Biden versus President Trump.

“Asked by a black anchor whether he has taken a competency test, Biden erupts and asks the guy whether he has taken a drug test. Why?” D’ Souza asked.

“Because he’s black? I doubt Biden would have asked Jake Tapper or Chris Cuomo that. It’s Biden, not @realdonaldtrump, that is the racist,” he added.
