A contestant on Friday’s episode of Jeopardy! gave a hilariously incorrect answer that managed to insult liberals across the nation.
In defense of the woman who will likely have to go into hiding because leftists don’t handle self-depricating humor very well, you could see why there would be a mixup.
Host Alex Trebek read the clue for ‘Final Jeopardy,’ which included a picture of a flower seen above.
The clue: “The flower pictured here is called this, also a disparaging term for people on the political left.”
The contestant responded, “What is a pansy?”

The actual answer, a ‘bleeding heart,’ isn’t exactly a badge of honor either.

A woman’s incorrect answer to a Final Jeopardy question about liberals gave the audience a good laugh, and even elicited a chuckle from stoic host Alex Trebek.
Trebek: “The flower pictured here is called this, also a disparaging term for people on the political left.”
Contestant: “What is a pansy?”
The audience erupted in laughter, and she lost all of her money.
The remaining contestant gave the correct answer — “bleeding heart” — to win the game.
“Although I do like ‘pansy'” Trebek said.
Look at that, liberals were somehow responsible for somebody losing all of their money. How appropriate.
