Jeff Flake Doesn’t Rule Out Challenging Trump in 2020

In an interview with CNN host Jake Tapper, Senator Jeff Flake didn’t rule out possibly challenging President Donald Trump in a 2020 primary contest. That is going to leave a lot of speculation between now and then over his future plans, but I’ve got to tell you, I am laughing hysterically right now.

The reason why Flake is leaving the Senate right now is because polls in Arizona show him to be down by double digits to his primary rival, State Senator Kelli Ward. Flake lied about Trump being the problem when he is the problem. Flake’s a rotten stinking liberal, and Arizona voters see that for themselves now.

Flake doesn’t stand a chance of winning an election for dog catcher, so what makes him think he can take on Trump in 2020?

Here’s the breakdown of the interview from NTK Network:

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Flake if someone in the Republican Party, possibly Flake himself, should challenge Trump in 2020.

“I won’t go there. That’s a long time away,” Flake responded.

Tapper pointed out that Flake was not discounting the idea.

“Certainly I didn’t support the president in the last election, and — but it’s early. Time will take care of itself,” Flake responded.

Again Tapper pointed out that Flake was not ruling out the possibility of challenging Trump in 2020.

Flake reiterated that he did not vote for Trump in 2016 and that, “nothing that [Trump’s] done has earned my support since that time or made me more likely to vote for him, you know, in the second run. So that’s all I’ll say.”

Please meet the Establishment’s new champion. Jeff Flake. He, like Bill Clinton, has never held a real job in his life. I’m not sure how he will run for president in 2020. Men like this do not “retire” from the public sector. This is a show.

I seriously challenge you to read his pedigree before becoming a Flake fan. And for my conservative friends: please understand that Flake is Establishment, and is every reason why half the nation voted the Establishment out of the White House for the first time in a half-century with Donald Trump.

What do you think about Flake’s decision to keep Tapper on the edge of his seat about challenging Trump in 2020? SHARE your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter timeline.
