Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) finds himself in even further hot water after his office circulated a talking points memo advising Democrats to defend him from his fire alarm insurrection scandal by labeling his Republican colleagues “Nazis.”

Bowman, as you’re well aware at this point, appeared to intentionally pull a fire alarm in order to delay a House vote on a spending bill over the weekend.

The congressman later claimed he had done so “mistakenly” despite being a former high school principal who took part in countless fire drills and despite the door in question being thoroughly labeled with “emergency exit only” signs.

Yes, he thinks you’re that dumb. And, considering he’s been threatened with arrest and/or expulsion from Congress, he’s hoping the Capitol Police are that dumb too.

But the story morphed from the ridiculous to the abhorrent when Bowman’s defensive posture advised Democrat lawmakers to respond to his criminal activity by calling critics “Nazis.”

Bowman Calls Critics Of His Fire Alarm Insurrection Nazis

Bowman is considered the top male member of the far-left group in Congress known as the “Squad.”

As such, he did what any member of the group would do in his situation. Rather than admit they acted foolishly, they divert from the fact that they are complete and utter morons by practically screeching – “ZOMG! I see Nazis!”

Bowman’s press secretary issued a memo to Democrats asking that they help push back against Republicans seeking punishment for his engaging in the fire alarm insurrection.

The memo was obtained by Politico, with one of the talking points suggesting that they shift the focus away from his actions and instead start name-calling their GOP colleagues.

“I believe Congressman Bowman when he says this was an accident,” one suggested message reads. “Republicans need to instead focus their energy on the Nazi members of their party before anything else.”

Bowman Blames Staff, Is Called ‘Unhinged Lunatic’

Bowman’s wild behavior wasn’t over yet. After the memo was discovered and made public, the New York lawmaker issued a statement throwing his staff under the bus.

“I just became aware that in our messaging guidance, there was inappropriate use of the term Nazi without my consent,” he wrote on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.

“I condemn the use of the term Nazi out of its precise definition,” he added. “It is important to specify the term Nazi to refer to members of the Nazi party & neo-Nazis.”

It seems pretty obvious that Bowman, like the children he used to guide as a school principal, has been caught in one lie and compounded his woes with another. And then pointed a finger at everybody else.

Either that, or he is essentially admitting to being one of the dumbest people in Congress. And with a class that includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), that’s quite the achievement.

Thinks a door leading outside is where you vote. Doesn’t know what a brightly painted red box labeled “fire alarm” does. Has no clue what his staff is doing during the day.

Just a complete ignoramus on all levels. Or a liar. Those are your two choices, Jamaal.

Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX), who had threatened Bowman with arrest over his actions in a post on X, suggested news of the memo was further evidence that the “Squad” member is an “unhinged lunatic.”

He is, of course, an unhinged lunatic.

It was just a few months ago that Bowman threw a temper tantrum just outside the House floor over his party’s inability to ban guns.

In May, he got into a heated argument with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) in which Ocasio-Cortez would eventually have to step in and drop a, “She ain’t worth it, bro.”

Greene accused Bowman of acting toward her in an “aggressive” manner.

Prior to that, Bowman walked up to Greene’s vehicle as she was departing a protest in New York City in support of former President Donald Trump, and began shouting for her to “get the hell out of here” and demanded that she not “open one word in our freaking city.”

Those are threats. Those are the actions of an unhinged lunatic. Just like the fire alarm insurrection.

Will they be actionable?

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) introduced a resolution to expel Bowman from Congress on Monday.

“We’ve dropped the resolution with twelve cosponsors, and we will continue to add more throughout the day,” she said in a statement. “Mr. Bowman’s juvenile actions violated both federal and local law and he must be held accountable.”

Only time will tell if this resolution is a success.
