Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX) posted a picture of handcuffs intended for Democrat congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) after the latter appeared to intentionally pull a fire alarm in order to delay a House vote on a spending bill over the weekend.

Bowman, as we’re sure you’ve heard by now, pulled the clearly marked fire alarm beside a clearly marked emergency door at the Cannon House Office Building on Saturday.

We are bound to say, for the sake of the “fact-checkers” online, that Bowman has claimed that his actions were simply an accident and that it only “appeared” he pulled the alarm on purpose. Though had this been a Marjorie Taylor Greene or a Paul Gosar who had been caught red-handed, they would never be given any benefit of the doubt.

“Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open,” Bowman said in a statement posted on X.

With that formality out of the way, Bowman’s eyes must be a deep shade of brown being afflicted with the disease of being so completely full of ****.

Images posted online by Breitbart News show the door in question is marked to the hilt with emergency signs that warn of an alarm if pushed on for three seconds. Meaning it has never been left open for votes.

The fire alarm itself is clearly labeled, bright red, just as they all are and just as they have appeared since we were children in school.

Which incidentally, Bowman knows very, very well, having been a teacher and school principal.

Jamaal Bowman’s Fire Alarm Stunt Is Insurrection

Critics and skeptics have pointed out that Bowman’s fire alarm stunt is, by definition and through the claims made by Democrats and the Justice Department over the past two years, clearly the act of an insurrectionist.

Just last month, the DOJ celebrated having charged 317 people from the January 6th riot at the Capitol with “corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so.”

Bowman clearly did exactly the same thing. The New York Post reports that the stunt came “as his fellow Democrats were trying to delay a key vote to fund the government.”

And, had an image like the one of Bowman pulling the fire alarm provided by Capitol police been pulled from video of the J6 riot, that person would already be in custody and charged with every crime that could be thrown at them.

Representative Nehls could hardly contain himself, posting an image to social media holding a pair of handcuffs.

“Jamaal, are you ready?” the image was captioned.

Nehls, in a previous post, pointed out that Bowman “was CAUGHT ON CAMERA pulling the fire alarm in a House Office Building to delay the CR vote.”

“IF TRUE: he should be charged with obstructing an official proceeding which is a FELONY,” he continued. “As a former Sheriff, I’d happily slap the cuffs on him.”

Bowman Under Investigation

According to multiple reports, Bowman is now under investigation by Capitol Police following his fire alarm stunt. But we all know what will come of that.

Despite having far more evidence of the Democrat lawmaker having partaken in insurrection than a solid majority of Trump supporters on January 6th.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) is reportedly drafting a resolution to expel Bowman from Congress saying, “This action warrants expulsion.”

The problem being, an effort to expel requires a two-thirds vote needing some Democrats to cross the aisle and vote in favor of Bowman’s expulsion. Democrats, you see, never abandon their own. That is something only Republicans do.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) indicated that Bowman would be given some form of punishment for his actions.

“This should not go without punishment. This is embarrassing,” McCarthy said. “You’re elected to be a member of Congress — you pull a fire alarm in the minutes and hours before the government being shut down, trying to dictate the government would shut down?”

A censure seems more likely, as it requires only a simple majority.

We can’t help but wonder if those imprisoned for many months or years following the Capitol riot would have taken a “censure” instead of jail time over their far more mundane actions.
