President George W. Bush has been a huge supporter of our law enforcement and firefighters. Everyone remembers his amazing leadership after 9/11, and the speech he gave from Ground Zero honoring the first responders who lost their lives.
Sadly, President Barack Obama has done nothing but attack our police and accuse them of being racist. But while Obama may have no class, real Americans remember what it was like to have a president who loved America, and didn’t want to “fundamentally transform” it.
That’s why this resurfaced salute to our police from Bush is so important, and a perfect reminder of what is truly important:
YES! That’s the kind of leadership America so desperately needs! It’s a beautiful, stunning tribute.
Our police officers risk their lives every single day. Every day, they wake up in the morning and kiss their wives (or husbands) and children goodbye, knowing full well that it could be the last time they see them.
Police selflessly put themselves in the line of fire, run into burning buildings, and risk it all so that we can be safe. All of our first responders do… and we owe them the biggest debt of gratitude. Barack Obama should remember that the next time he calls our police “racist.”
