FBI Investigating Biden Surrogate And Netflix Star For Allegedly Soliciting Sex From Minors

A new USA Today report indicates that Jerry Harris, a Netflix star who campaigned with Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden in a video earlier in the summer, had his home raided by the FBI for allegedly soliciting sex from minors.

USA Today reported that “The criminal investigation is based on allegations brought by 14-year-old twin brothers. In interviews with USA TODAY, the boys described a pattern of harassment, both online and at cheer competitions, that started when they were 13 and Harris was 19.”

“They said it continued for more than a year,” the report noted.

Harris Appeared With Biden In A Video Earlier This Summer

Harris is a celebrity cheerleader who appeared in Netflix’s “Cheer” series, and he used his celebrity to help promote Biden in a video earlier this summer.

The Washington Free Beacon reported, “Just three months ago the Biden campaign used Harris, who has over a million followers on Instagram, as part of Biden’s push to sway young voters and ‘win back the internet,’ Time magazine reported. The Instagram live video of Harris and Biden was viewed nearly 300,000 times and remains on social media.”

After the Free Beacon’s report, it appeared that the social media post was removed from Instagram.

USA Today noted, “Nine law enforcement agents spent about three hours Monday afternoon in Harris’ home in Naperville, Illinois. The allegations against Harris have been reported to at least four other law enforcement agencies in Texas and Florida.”

Harris Investigation Comes In Wake Of Netflix ‘Cuties’ Controversy

This controversy comes in the wake of Netflix being heavily criticized for offering “Cuties” a movie that many believe sexualizes young children. Prominent members of Congress from both parties have spoken out against the film.

Democratic Congresswoman and former 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard tweeted on Friday, “[C]hild porn ‘Cuties’ will certainly whet the appetite of pedophiles & help fuel the child sex trafficking trade. 1 in 4 victims of trafficking are children.”

“It happened to my friend’s 13 year old daughter,” she added. “Netflix, you are now complicit.”

Republican Senator Ted Cruz also criticized the film, tweeting on Friday, “Deeply disturbing: Netflix aggressively promoting new movie sexualizing children. Hollywood should not be celebrating & making $$ off of the sexual abuse of 11-year-old girls.”

“This is not OK,” he emphasized.

It will be interesting to see how okay Netflix is with having any sort of relationship with Mr. Harris depending on the results of the FBI investigation.
