Donald Trump’s Decision About The GOP Debate Totally CHECKMATED The Liberal Media

GOP Debate

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump made headlines by making an ultimatum with liberal media outlet CNN: Trump said he wouldn’t participate in the next debate unless CNN paid him $5 million. The money Trump would have donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.

Ultimately, Trump backed down. Now he says he’ll take part in the Dec. 15 Republican debate in Las Vegas — and won’t be getting paid for his appearance.

“When you’re leading in the polls, I think it’s too big of a risk to not do the debate,” Trump told The Washington Post during an interview at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., on Thursday. “I don’t think I have the kind of leverage I’d like to have in a deal and I don’t want to take the chance of hurting my campaign. So I’ll do the debate.”

Trump had proposed the idea on Monday during a campaign stop in Georgia that he would boycott the debate if CNN didn’t pay him $5 million.

Remember in September, Trump participated in the CNN debate after writing an open letter to CNN president Jeff Zucker, asking him to donate all profits from the broadcast. In the letter, he took credit for CNN’s increase in advertising rates.

I salute Trump! Take that money, if you can get it, from the left wing media and give it all to our veterans!
