Anti-Gun Leader Spreads Massive Lie About Dana Loesch During NRA Convention

Shannon Watts, the founder of “Moms Demand Action” (for gun control), continued her usual trend of making bizarrely obsessive social media posts about NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch over the weekend.

Watts was speaking at the left-wing “United States of Women” conference this weekend, but since Loesch lives rent-free in Watts’ head, Watts still made time in her schedule to make up a bold-faced lie about Loesch. According to Watts, Loesch decided to crash a pro-gun control meeting at a local church in Texas, camera crew and all.

Why would someone like Loesch, who was attending the NRA’s annual convention over the weekend, randomly take time out of her day to antagonize some know-nothing anti-gunners at a local church?

Simple answer: she wouldn’t. In fact, at the time of Watt’s tweet, Loesch was preoccupied eating lunch.

Loesch’s producer also confirmed that her “camera crew” hasn’t been filming non-existent altercations at an unspecified church.

It’s still completely unclear how Watts concocted this story, as she’s in Los Angeles for the “United States of Women” convention, while Loesch is in Dallas, Texas. Given how massive a state Texas is, the fact that Watts references a “Texas church” doesn’t give us much information. Nor is there any explanation for how Loesch would know where they were holding a meeting. Are we to believe that a local “Moms Demand Action” chapter was holding a meeting, Loesch appeared, and then they relayed that information to Watts, who made the tweet?

In such a scenario I’d say that Watts’ source needs to get her eyesight checked, but that would be giving Watts the benefit of the doubt here. She’s lied countless times before, so what are the odds this is any different?

There’s an old saying that a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even has the chance to get its pants on, and that’s probably what Watts was going for here.
