Before The Dallas Shooting, Police Officers Were Doing THIS With Protesters

Dallas shooting
Before coming under attack from sniper fire, Dallas police were doing their duty to protect Black Lives Matter protesters’ right to peacefully assemble. Pictures posted on the Dallas Police Department’s Twitter page detail their interaction with the community just minutes before being ambushed.

They even posed with protestors.

Sadly, within an hour of these photos being posted, 11 police officers were down, shot by an unknown number of assailants. Over the course of the night we learned that 5 officers died in the line of duty after putting their lives on the line for a crowd marching against them.

Let us pray for the recovery of the others shot and may the 5 heroes who died rest in peace. #BlueLivesMatter
