Sadly, within an hour of these photos being posted, 11 police officers were down, shot by an unknown number of assailants. Over the course of the night we learned that 5 officers died in the line of duty after putting their lives on the line for a crowd marching against them.
Four police officers sacrificed their lives tonight protecting the right of a great many to protest police.
