He’s back!
Corey Lewandowski, the controversial former Trump campaign manager, is positioning himself to be close to the President during his 2020 re-election campaign.
Howard Kurtz of Fox News is reporting that Lewandowski has joined forces with Vice President Mike Pence’s political action committee. It looks like the band is getting back together:
Corey Lewandowski, who helped Donald Trump win the Republican nomination, is getting back in the campaign game.
He is joining Vice President Pence’s political action committee, which will enable him to travel with the VP and puts him firmly back in the president’s 2020 reelection orbit, say sources familiar with the move.
Lewandowski discussed the move with Trump before accepting the offer and is taking the job with the president’s blessing, these sources say.
This is big. Lewandowski helped engineer Trump’s campaign from the get-go. His hands-off approach helped propel Trump to every TV screen in the country, as he blitzed the nation with his larger-than-life rallies.
Lewandowski laid the groundwork for a winning presidential campaign: He let Trump be Trump and eschewed the polished and expensive consulting that is so prevalent in Washington. He helped make Trump a force to be reckoned with. And now the President is rewarding his hard work.
As things stand right now, it’s hard to tell who Trump’s Democrat challenger will be. There are nearly a dozen Democrats hinting they’ll run for president. A lot of these Democrats think Trump will be easy to beat, with the media on their side, and a seemingly endless string of controversies emerging.
But Trump’s popularity continues to rise, much to Democrats’ dismay. And Lewandowski is one of the few campaign hands who understands how Trump operates. It’s a good thing he’s rejoining the campaign just as the 2020 race begins to get underway.

What ever happened to Hope Hicks? Did Trump impregnate her or not?
The President should keep a watchful eye on Pence, who has his own goals and agenda, which often run counter to the WH.
Great news glad to have him back in the thick of things but he should have it easy as the left has nobody of any consequences to run against Mr. Trump.
