Jaw-dropping video shows a police officer get ambushed as he gives a ticket, only to return fire on the suspect – and then finish writing the citation before getting medical treatment!
Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the dashcam footage shows the officer issuing a traffic citation to the driver of a Mercedes-Benz, as a man walks by on the side of the road.
We next see the man fumbling with a pistol behind the officer. Once he gets the gun working, he walks up behind the officer and reportedly tells him to put his hands up and to give up his weapon. The cop refuses and is promptly shot in the back as he takes cover.The officer returns fire with multiple rounds, but the suspect managed to escape.
Before calling for medical assistance, the cop took the time to finish the citation he was writing before the ambush. There was no getting out of a ticket that day.
