Confirm Kavanaugh Now – Democrats Are Not Serious About These Allegations

Democrats just gave the game away and then some. They are not serious about investigating the allegations of sexual abuse against Brett Kavanaugh made by Christine Blasey Ford. In fact, they’re doing everything they can to not get to the truth about what happened. (RELATED: Senator Dianne Feinstein Pushes Back on Hearing for Kavanaugh Accuser Christine Ford.)

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley has reserved a time on Monday for both Kavanaugh and Ford to testify to tell their respective stories. Before that, Grassley hosted a phone call with Kavanaugh where he invited Democrat and Republican members of the Committee to attend. Democrats refused, showing they don’t actually care about getting as much information as possible on this matter. The testimony hearing scheduled for Monday currently has 2 witnesses due to testify. Ford’s lawyer initially said she was willing to testify but has now indicated she will likely not be present on Monday. (RELATED: Kavanaugh Accuser Ignores Calls to Testify – After Volunteering to Testify.)

Sen. Feinstein criticized the dearth of witnesses, demanding more be present:

To be fair, Feinstein makes some decent points there. If more witnesses can be brought in, by all means, bring them in. Except, Feinstein is not being completely honest in her statement. Senator Grassley makes that clear as he just fired back in a big way, revealing that Feinstein and her staff aren’t working with his office to secure more witnesses:

This cannot be stated strongly and unequivocally enough: Senator Dianne Feinstein is a manipulative, cold-hearted woman. If this was really about getting the truth about sexual abuse that occurred decades ago, she’d welcome and work for more information on the incident. She wouldn’t openly refuse to cooperate with an ongoing investigation into the matter.

Feinstein’s continual refusal to cooperate means this entire thing is a sham. First, we know that Ford contacted her back in July about her allegations. Feinstein sat on them for months, choosing only to reveal them close to when Kavanaugh was to be confirmed to the Supreme Court. That’s the kind of duplicity you can only pull over on an absolute fool.

Now Feinstein won’t work with Senate Republicans to actually gather all the information she can on Kavanaugh. She openly criticized one aspect of the Committee’s testimony meeting but has offered nothing in terms of labor to actually help fix it.

This is a sham. Republicans should move ahead with confirming Kavanaugh. Feinstein and her Democrat colleagues are not serious about the allegations. If they truly cared about Ford, they’d do everything possible to find more information on her accusation.

Confirm Kavanaugh now. Leave the Democrats behind.
