CNN was widely criticized after announcing they would be hosting a town hall on coronavirus featuring experts which apparently include climate activist Greta Thunberg.
The “global” town hall will also include CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, acting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Richard Besser, and former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
It will be hosted by “AC 360” anchor Anderson Cooper.
Thunberg’s ‘expertise’ may lie in claims that she had recovered from what she believed were mild coronavirus symptoms.

Climate Change and Corona
Despite the seemingly unrelated level of expertise possessed by Thunberg, there is certainly a method to CNN’s madness.
Last week, the network interviewed Al Gore regarding his thoughts about the coronavirus pandemic and the Trump administration’s handling of the crisis.
“I see what he is doing, and it’s the complete opposite of what the United States of America needs in the presidency right now,” Gore claimed.
The former vice-president-turned-climate-alarmist also said that any move toward opening the economy too soon would put the nation “in grave danger.”
Having Gore and Thunberg on as experts regarding coronavirus is a clear indication the far-left network would like to push the notion that climate change has actually made the pandemic worse.
This will be a super-interesting argument if it turns out, as some experts predict, that warm weather slows the spread of the virus.

CNN Mocked
CNN was widely mocked for bringing Thunberg on to discuss “Coronavirus: Facts and Fears.”
Donald Trump Jr. sarcastically noted Thunberg has “a remarkable career already in that as a teenager she’s now a world-renowned infectious disease specialist and epidemiologist AND a leading scientific voice when it comes to global climate policy.”
“Just wow so impressive,” he added.

Thunberg has been named Time Person of the Year and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
The teenage activist has indicated in the past she “wouldn’t have wasted my time” when asked if she’d consider having a conversation with President Trump about climate change, and has been challenged to a debate by a fellow teenager, conservative CJ Pearson.
Yet she’ll ‘waste her time’ appearing on a network with a handful of viewers to discuss something she has no knowledge of.
