Chelsea Clinton Agrees to Meet With Pro-Gun Parkland Survivor

While the media has turned a handful of the pro-gun control survivors of the shooting at Stoneman Douglas high school into celebrities for their activism, they’re hardly representative of the whole student body.

As the media fawned over the anti-gun students with a “Can you believe these kids?” attitude, their rise was, in actuality, “astroturfed.” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz met with them the day after the massacre, and they’ve been aided by Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun groups, MoveOn.org, the American Federation of Teachers, and even Planned Parenthood.

These kids hardly “came out of nowhere” and elevated themselves to a national stage. The media did that themselves, and then tried to pretend otherwise.

One pro-gun student who survived the massacre, Kyle Kashuv, has been speaking out, but receiving not even a hundredth of the media attention of his classmates demanding that politicians do “something.” Could that be because the media is exploiting a group of left-wing students because they’re repeating the narrative the media wants to hear? You bet.

Since he doesn’t have the media or the Democrat establishment behind him, Kashuv has been taking matters into his own hands, reaching out to politicians and other people of influence on Twitter, asking them to speak with him about unity following the massacre he survived.

To the surprise of many, Chelsea Clinton agreed to meet him.

He sent her this question:

And she agreed – but not without plugging her book first in the most obvious way possible, giving the book its own hashtag and listing the full title.

Despite the obvious plug, Kashuv was happy she at least agreed to meet with her. He also told his audience that as a result of his campaign, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio have both agreed to meet with him, too.

You have to give Chelsea credit for agreeing to meet with him. Let’s just hope she doesn’t plug her book during their meeting.

Is Chelsea Clinton being self-serving in agreeing to this meeting? Tell us your thoughts below!
