Joe Biden decided to get his campaign rolling on Wednesday by saying the Obama administration, in which he served as vice president for eight years, didn’t have a single scandal or lie to speak of.
Odd, considering that is an easily proven lie in and of itself.
Biden took a shot at President Trump claiming that while the current administration has been mired in media-generated scandals, he and Barack conducted themselves in pristine fashion.
“Know what I was most proud of?” he asked supporters in Iowa. “For eight years, there wasn’t one single hint of a scandal or a lie.”
There was more than a hint. There were multiple examples that could comparatively beat you over the head with a hammer like a Hillary Clinton Blackberry.

It’d be laughable if it wasn’t so sad.
Lie of the Year
The lies came at you fast and furious (pun intended) during Obama’s two terms in office, but one, in particular, stands out when thinking of a response to Biden’s ridiculous claim.
“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” ring a bell, Mr. Biden?
I mean, even PolitiFact gave Obama ‘lie of the year’ when he blatantly misled the American people about his technocratic health-care plan. That lie upturned millions of lives.

The Obamacare tale Obama forged in front of the American people was so preposterous it was named 2013 Lie of the Year by the left-leaning organization Politifact.
More Lies
It’d be curious to see what the men who died in, or fought back against, the terrorist attack in Benghazi would think about the Obama/Biden administration’s repeated assertion that it all started as a protest over a YouTube video. Lie.
Or what those who have suffered at the hands of ISIS think about Obama labeling them the ‘JV team.’ Lie.
While using executive orders to circumvent the Second Amendment, Obama told the American people “that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book.”
He once told supporters his administration would close GITMO, claimed he would work in a bipartisan manner, and told Syria not to cross his ‘red line.’
All lies.
Scandals
Benghazi has already been mentioned, but the Obama administration began with a very serious scandal in Fast and Furious.
Fast and Furious was a government gun-running operation that resulted in the deaths of dozens of people, including border agent Brian Terry.
Aside from those two major scandals, Obama and Biden were also behind a trade of high-ranking terrorists for a traitor, giving Iran access to the U.S. financial system, using the DOJ to try and shut down reporters by accusing them of committing a crime, meddling in foreign elections, using the IRS to punish political opponents, all but ignoring Christian refugees being persecuted in the Middle East, and of course, as we’ve learned recently, using law enforcement agencies to spy on an adversary in an attempt to subvert the American election in 2016.
But sure, Joe, not even “one single hint.”
Whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep better at night.
