There is no limit to how far Hollywood actress Bette Midler will go just to make President Donald Trump look bad, and she showed that once again on Monday when she nonsensically claimed that Trump is “killing his own base” of “older white men and women,” adding that he does not care about the elderly.

Midler made this bizarre claim in response to President Trump wanting to reopen the economy after multiple states saw their COVID-19 cases flatten. She completely ignored the fact that Trump has actually said that he wants special care to be given to the elderly as states reopen their economies in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Breitbart News.
“States are safely coming back. Our Country is starting to OPEN FOR BUSINESS again,” Trump tweeted in April. “Special care is, and always will be, given to our beloved seniors (except me!). Their lives will be better than ever…WE LOVE YOU ALL!”

Like many other liberal celebrities, Midler has verged on being gleeful throughout this pandemic as she’s used it to shamelessly blame Trump for every coronavirus casualty in the United States. Last month, she went so far as to claim that Trump has “30,000 corpses” on his hands. “Every single day you cause death, destruction, and untold suffering. Four more years of your incompetence and we won’t have a country left!” Midler wrote, adding the hashtags “#TrumpOwnsEveryDeath” and “#Loser.”
