Special counsel John Durham humiliated Adam Schiff by pointing to his history of trying to accept “dirt” on political opponents from foreign agents, subtly referencing an incident in which the Democrat lawmaker was caught on tape trying to secure naked photos of Donald Trump.

The exchange took place during Durham’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday about his devastating report on the genesis of the Russia collusion investigation.

Durham’s report found that the FBI did not have enough “factual evidence” to investigate allegations of Trump-Russia collusion and revealed that they “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law.”

But factual evidence isn’t exactly in Schiff’s wheelhouse, having been one of the biggest purveyors of misinformation about the debunked collusion narrative. And he wasn’t about to let up.

“Are you aware, Mr. Durham, that [Robert] Mueller’s and Congressional investigations also revealed that Don Jr. was informed that a Russian official was offering the Trump campaign ‘very high-level and sensitive information’ that would be incriminating of Hillary Clinton…?” Schiff asked.

And with that, the die was cast.

Durham replied to Schiff’s accusation that Trump Jr. was trying to secure incriminating evidence with his first subtle reference to the lawmaker’s own history of doing so.

He replied, “Sure, people get phone calls all the time from individuals who claim to have information like that.”

Schiff, seemingly unaware that Durham was alluding to his own past, continued.

“Really? The son of a presidential candidate gets calls all the time from a foreign government offering dirt on their opponent. Is that what you’re saying?” Schiff said, surprised.

“I don’t think this is unique in your experience,” Durham shot back.

“So you have other instances of the Russian government offering dirt on a presidential candidate to the presidential candidate’s son. Is that what you’re saying?” the Democrat continued, blissfully unaware that he was being thoroughly owned at this point.

“I’m saying that people can make phone calls making claims all the time,” Durham replied. “Of that, you may have experience.”

Schiff Tried to Get Naked Photos of Trump

Durham humiliated Representative Adam Schiff and we’re quite certain a vast majority of Democrats and their minions in the media have no idea it even happened.

Hell, that clip seems to indicate Schiff has no idea he was being insulted to his face. But readers of The Political Insider know exactly what Durham is referencing in that exchange – Schiff’s own attempt to secure ‘dirt’ on former President Donald Trump.

And it was all caught on tape.

The conversation in question involved Schiff falling victim to Russian pranksters Vladimir Kyzetsov and Alexei Stolyarov in 2018. The comedians, posing as a Ukrainian member of Parliament, Andriy Parubiy, promised dirt on President Trump, including some compromising photos.

Schiff, it can easily be determined by listening to the phone call, took it very seriously, even arranging for staff to collect the “classified” material.

The pranksters involved with the call first claimed that Trump had an affair with Russian model and singer Olga Buzova while in Moscow for the 2013 Miss Universe pageant.

“She got compromising materials on Trump after their short relations,” the caller, posing as a Ukrainian lawmaker, told Schiff.

“OK, and what’s the nature of the material?” Schiff inquired.

“Well, there were pictures of naked Trump,” the caller claimed, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin was aware of the images in question.

Schiff claimed he was in on the prank – wink, wink – but reality suggests otherwise when he followed up by having staff try to collect the “kompromat.”

“Please let me know how best to arrange pick-up of those materials from your Embassy in Washington, D.C.,” one aide wrote.

There is no ambiguity here: Schiff was – on tape – colluding with what he thought was a foreign government to obtain classified information in an attempt to take down his political opponent.

The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to censure Schiff for pushing false claims that former President Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.

Schiff made numerous public and false claims that he had “direct evidence” of collusion.

He would also claim that he has “more than circumstantial evidence” and implied that there was “compelling and incriminating evidence” of wrongdoing.

His allegations were made through selective leaks of information to the media that failed to paint the whole picture. Obama officials had testified time and again that they had no evidence of collusion.

Schiff’s Democrat colleagues celebrated his censure by hailing him as a hero for having lied about the Russian collusion.

“Why did Republicans make stuff up and go after Adam Schiff on the House floor?” Representative Ted Lieu asked. “Because he is effective. Because he is courageous. And because he is right.”

“We stand with Adam.”

Nothing about Schiff was made up. And nothing about Schiff is courageous. And nothing he said turned out to be right.
