Transcripts of the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe show Obama officials testifying time and again that they had no evidence of collusion with the campaign of President Trump in 2016.
Regardless of this knowledge, Chairman Adam Schiff repeatedly stated through friendly media outlets that there was “direct evidence” of collusion.
The transcripts were released Thursday evening after Schiff was pressured by Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who advised that if the Democrat was not “willing” to release them to congressional members, he would do it himself.
Repeatedly Stated No Evidence
The House intel transcripts show a who’s who of Obama-era officials telling the committee that they had found no evidence of Russia collusion.
- Former National Security Adviser, Susan Rice was asked whether she had evidence of collusion: “I don’t recall intel or evidence to that effect.”
- Former Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes said, “I saw indications of potential coordination, but I did not see, you know, the specific evidence of the actions of the Trump campaign.”
- Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the conspiracy: Do “not recall that being briefed up to me,” and “I can’t say that it existed or not.”
- Former campaign Chair for Hillary Clinton, John Podesta: “I have no specific facts or information relating to conversations that may have been had between people from the Trump campaign and either Assange or representatives of the Russian Government, other than
what I’ve read in the paper.”
NEW: former DNI James Clapper says : “I never saw any direct empirical evidence that the Trump campaign or someone in it was plotting/ conspiring with the Russians to meddle with the election.” — in transcript of interview with House Intel during its Russia probe.

Schiff Not the Only Liar
That last one from former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is pretty intriguing. He, like Schiff, went on friendly leftist television and stated the exact opposite of what he testified to.
Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire notes that Clapper was paid by fake news site CNN to opine on matters involving Russia collusion, and apparently lied to their viewers.
“What was the Trump campaign (sic) doing the same time was essentially aiding and abetting the Russians,” he said.
Clapper made those remarks to the House Intel Committee on July 17, 2017

Schiff Lied, Collusion Died
Schiff, in his role as the House Intel Chair, presented lies to the American people as if he had classified information that pointed to direct collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
“I think there is direct evidence in the emails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump,” Schiff said during a CBS interview in March of 2019.
Schiff would also claim that he had “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion.
He lied. The transcripts prove it. And nobody who represents an intelligence committee should be allowed to present false information and continue working in such capacity going forward.
